Heya, I'm currently painting my contekar and thought about listening to some tactica about them. I really liked your video on them! However I think you misunderstood Sevatars WT. He doesn't need to be attached to a unit to dish out his deep strike and prefered enemy rules. "Any units (...) Terminators in the same detachment" - is how its written. So your Terminators get that amazing buff either way. The Atramentar only mention "units" in their rules to ensure the player knows that they also count as Tartaros Terminators for the purposes of the WT. I always get mixed up on this, if the unit has native deepstrike, does an attached terminator character? Does Sevie give other terminator characters deepstrike?

Hey red corsair. "ANY units of Legion Cataphractii Terminators and Legion Tartaros Terminators included in the same Detachment as Sevatar gain the Deep Strike special rule (Sevatar himself does not)". The wording is clear. ANY. Unless there is another rule that contradicts this. I'd say if the character in terminator armour was in a a unit then 100% he gives it. If his on his own then their might be a debate as his now a model not a unit. But characters should be in units anyway imho. Sevatar would have go give it to that unit though with the character in it. As I believe if the character is attached without that feature from Sev then the unit does not grant that character deepstrike. In addition if a unit that now has a character attached Without deepstrike that unit with deepstrike can not deepstrike as the entire unit does not have it anymore. So suffice to say just take sev and give it to them. If in doubt. As that happens before the game starts they have it for sure. Always check with your TO or opponent though. But "ANY" means "ANY".

I was a 30k fan like you would not believe. When it went dead, I still played. Then GW wanted to monetize my fandom. Ok. I’ll play along. And then one disappointment after another. Honestly I can relate to you from that standpoint. I rarely buy from the stores anymore TBH, they have stuffed up ALLOT. just make them WS5 lol
