I run a unit of 5 with a conversion beamer in a Headhunter Leviathal list, and for me at least they're super consistent - I stick them on an objective, they refuse to die and occasionally fling a blast template with Blind across the board. Love 'em

100% I'm using mine at the moment with conversion beamer to sit on the backing SCORE and protect my scorpious and Cerebrus.

Also good sir! I’d love your take on Terror Squads!! I love my squad but they are spendy. Currently running 5 rotor cannons, 7 chargers. And a mix of chainblades and chainswords. Sgt sometimes takes a headsman.

Yes. Terror sqauds are good. I was doing a video on them soon anyway. They are strong. I'll put something together

Hydrate Dominas, Brother! Great Video .... as someone considering starting an Alpha Legion Army for AoD, I would be interested in your take on Headhunter squads (Headhunter vs Seekers vs Scouts, what loadout to equip them with, how to use them, etc). Cheers.

Hydra Dominatus Jean Christopher Hacker. Thank you brother.. definitely I will be doing both those units. The comparison between the two is actually a really good argument. I know people who are on either sides. I'll make sure I either get that in or I'll make it its own separate video. Thanks for watching.

Lernaean Terminators often get a bad rep, but I like them a lot! An underrated, overlooked unit is perfect for the Alpha Legions purposes after all. Fun fact regarding the Hydran Exemplars rule: the unit only need to be entirely composed entirely of models with this rule at the time the target legion is chosen, which happens before deployment. After that point, that requirement is gone. So since Independent Characters can only join units during or after deployment, Lernaeans will always get the +1 regardless if joined by models without the rule or not!

Hi Kuuuse, I 100% agree. I think they are heaps underrated, WOW ok well that makes them even stronger. Thanks for that. all the other research I did on that said otherwise. Said they lose it. Your right though.

Yo Steve, great vid, enjoyed it. Thinking for ur next vid, review the Legions Astartes Battleforce and as for units, I am currently working on some BA ones. Blood Angels have a lot of units, some are decent but others a question mark for me (Crimson Paladins, Dawn Beakers and that Legacy Elites unit). Angel Tears are ok, especially if they all have assault cannons, but it's pricey and the other configuration without the assault cannons have kinda gone downhill in version 2.0.

Ok good point. I'll do it either tommrow or Saturday. We also have a request for terror sqaud tacticals. We will get them them all eventually.

Just had a baby girl a week ago. And I’ve loved your tactical reviews! Definitely showing good case reasons for considering units that are often written off.

Wow congratulations Jacobb on the new addition to your family and thanks for watching. Are there any units in specific you would like yo see covered?

They should be used like a tactical squad, with more durability. Keep them cheap and don't add characters to them. Power dagger chain fist with Harrower is optimal. Other Alpha Legion units should be supporting them. Medicae is an option but losing the exemplars buff is not worth it. You are better off putting points somewhere else. They are used as tough line units not assault Terminators as you note Thanks for the video

Hi Instar nine. Yes great feedback. We just actually worked out though that they don't lose the exemplar buff when assigning the character. Check out kuuuse comment.

"This is not because they seek to obscure their existence, but rather because they rarely leave behind any witnesses of their" slaps until you see WS4 and a power axe. I just don't see it. Lernaeans have to compete vs every other legions unique terminators. Throw into the mix that you can get WS5 terminators with line already and its a grim picture. I don't think any amount of thinking will make them better value them an unga bunga ROT unit that you just throw at the enemy. If you want line terminators you can take pride of the legion or take a command squad. If you want them for anything else there are better options. I really love lernaean terminators, they look great. I really wish they'd represented their resiliance in some other way like giving them battle hardened (1) or something. If your trying to play a pride of the legion terminator spam I could see them being considered for the fact they get line (which is only ok and really mission dependent). They're def too expensive for what they are. I'd rather use them to convert up a RoT unit like fire drakes.

My buddy plays alpha legion- I haven’t had to fight him yet- but got beat pretty handily by a guy playing iron hands- I was using my 16th legion. Good game
@CommandCentreWargaming8 ай бұрын
Iron Hands will do it. They are pretty leathal. The defensive buffs also the combos with dreads are nasty. Strong faction units like immortals and Morlocks. I might do Morlocks next actually. They are an interesting one. Justerian as well. But Justerian Termies are great but their pretty direct unit to use.
