Good guy Seth, trying to save everyone from themselves and later working to save everyone from Jake so they would all live in obedience in happy Azorius world...
@aylipaolucci94128 жыл бұрын
Tomer, why didn't you cast the Rakdos Charm and just kill Jake in respomse to the Supreme Verdict? That would've been SO funny!
@ACommonCauseMTG8 жыл бұрын
+Camden Paolucci I didn't see a benefit in doing that. I was happy to let Jake rebuild and pressure Seth since I didn't have many outs against Seth myself.

Pirates vs Ninjas vs Rovots vs Elves in Magic the Gathering? Elves is so far ahead it wins easily unless the other 3 gang up from turn 1 and even then Elves has a shot.Unless you ban about 20 cards for the elf player or let the others stray pretty far from theme in their card choices.

Some people took from this game the lesson that Humility is game Warping and should be banned. The lesson I took is that when one player plays RB and the GW player plays no removal whatsoever, wither of the other 2 players can safely play whatever enchantments they feel like. Yes, one way to deal with problem cards is to ban them, the better way imo is to play cards that deal with the problem. If people in your playgroup run pillow fort decks like Seth's, then play G or W and run 5-6 enchantment board wipes or 1-2 and plenty of card draw or tutors. Even a creeping mould or beast from within would have been enough to deal with the humility while still being flexible enough to play in commander in playgroups not playing problem enchantments. Or in blue, boomerang effects. This game is example of why every commander deck should have plenty of targeted removal as well as non-land board wipes.(even Armageddon effects if land ramp gets out of hand, if possible just kill all the threats and make that mana useless)
@crisgale80987 жыл бұрын
it would have been cool if you we're only able to play cards from the 2 ravnica blocks. but only cards that are in your guild within the sets. like no blue dimir creature in azorius

43:09 odd thing Tomer didn't decide to use Rakdos charm would have gotten Jake out of the game with all the tokens he had on board. Would be an insane kill tbh but good guy Tomer i guess.
@TheBackwards38 жыл бұрын
+Kingdom Fantasy223 Wouldn't have benefited him much because getting rid of Jake also lowered his chances of getting rid of Seth. He was probably thinking that if he left Jake alive to hopefully deal with Seth,He would end up getting big again, then he could do Rakdos Charm and kill him after Seth wasn't a big problem.

The program is Magic Online (you can find out more or download it at www.mtgo.com). It's not free (there's a small fee to get started, and then you have to buy/trade for cards, but many of the cards are inexpensive). Yes, you can play private games with friends, and unless you want to play tournaments for prizes, once you have the cards you don't play anything to actually play the same, so you can play with your friends (or random people) for free as much as you'd like.

This game is a perfect example of why humility should be banned: it's kinda funny, but it ruins the game for everyone else.
