I just wanted to say i really liked the outros it gave everyone an oppurtunity to explain their decks idea even if they ran poorly or were eliminated early, mention cool, sweet, janky etc inclusions that didn't come up during the game and lastly reflect on their build or decisions and how they would change it if given a chance , though i can understand that some people don't think they are necessary after seeing the Decks in play for a couple of hours.

I can't believe this. Richard could have tutored up the Mycosynth Lattice and then Vandal Blasted everybody's boards away. Could have had two back-to-back videos where he destroys everybody's lands despite the bannings EDIT: WELP he tried

Svella is literally my new favorite card in magic. I don't care that it's not the most optimal/effective commander. A commander does not have to be the most OP to be just fun.

I think a Commander Clash where you only use cards available to buy/ in Stock on Card Kingdom at the time of filming would be really cool. Maybe not week, maybe just one persons deck idea but it’d be fun. Then a person can literally purchase your deck. Honestly missed full fledged deck outro’s. They are useful when someone’s deck doesn’t function properly to try and see what they were attempting.

Since you asked - the worst gamble i ever witnessed- a friend had a Zndrsplt and Okaun coin flip deck. His only tutor for krarks thumb was gamble. He cast it on turn 1 to find the thumb, and sure enough, thumb went straight to the bin. This was the same day said friend realized his deck had no ways to return artifacts from the graveyard. He was very sad, the rest of us were very amused.

In a 1v1 commander deck, i used a Daretti and actually used Gamble with the intent as Emtomb, with 5 cards in hand actually succeeded XD. Gamble is Emtomb basically and it worked in my favor this time XD

I’m actually excited to see spirit tribal by Crim and Magda is such a sweet deck. Also, maybe I’m weird but I kinda like Svella. I kInda hate hearing “well is it better than X commander” or “well X is just better so this is boring” Is the commander itself fun though? Doesn’t always have to be better.

I think the text on gamble secretly reads "search for a card in your deck and then immediately discard that card" because that is what happens everytime I have seen it played. Also I would totally buy a scoops sippy cup.

I think having the occasional expensive card in a deck would be okay (ie Mox diamond) as they are cards which can be substituted when deck building.

So for BEST gamble ever: My opponent had like 15 2/2 cats in play, and I was empty handed. I top-decked Gamble and was like 'guess I loose'... but I had Loyal Retainers in play. So I looked for Elesh Norn. I still lost that game, but that put me back in it.

The fast mana problem is a though one... on the one hand it can ruin games if one person gets ahead to early on the other hand i can level the playing field since it gives non green Decks a chance to catch up in terms of mana with the caveat that sadly even green decks will play the best pieces of fast mana depening on the rest of their color requirements. I think that the problem is rooted deep in the slower gameplay of commander with the higher lifetotals and the shared focus of 4 players which makes ramp very attractive and strong with fewer chances of beeing punished for mostly "do nothing " turns in the early game which only grows stronger the closer to casual the decks are. While I don't know if it would work for 4 players, I had to build my decks in a middleground between normal commander and duel commander since we used to play between classes and never knew if we would play as 2 ,3, etc . And while we didn't play with a diffrent banlist the games played in 2 were starting at 20 and the games played in 3 at 30 life and it felt like taking a few turns off to ramp was not feasible in 2 player and at least difficult in 3.

my playgroup already uses your og dual errata it works great we should get the entire commander community to adopt it, except dont use a decent land use guildgates. its a super simple easy to understand fix . all guildgates are that color og dual land in commander.

I have a potential banlist idea. Can you change the banlist to any cards above a certain budget and the top 8 cards from each person? That makes the banslit smaller as well as push for more creative decks each week. There are issues with this idea, such as theoretically you guys can manipulate how often you can play a card in games this season to avoid the banlist, but I liked the old banlist because it did not use cards that cEDH uses (moxes for instance). This seasons banlist seemed a bit all over the place for me personally, but I understand your reasoning for all of the sections for the list. This is merely a suggestion and all I hope for are more funny, enjoyable games

I have a rielle the everwise, I had 24 cards in hand and gambled for laboratory maniac, and discarded the laboratory maniac. Then in the next game I had 9 cards in hand and discarded the tutor target and in the third game had 14 cards in hand and still discarded the tutor target

My worst Gamble was playing lands in a GP and I had to last ditch effort to gamble for a krosan grip and obviously I discarded it which kicked me out the GP since that was my 3rd loss
