Part of the problem is the whining about what he’s playing IMO cause Commander is supposed to be a play what you want format so I don’t agree with hating the choice from the get go - let the piece come out and table address the piece not the player/deck
@TabbyLikeAKat

@STUDENT Richard Sakurai-Kearns Its not though, he even said it multiple times. His deck wants to slow down the game, ie: Trinisphere. It doesnt prevent you from doing things, it just prevents Tomer, Richard and Seth from going insanely fast which seems fair to me Edit: I do agree with you, if I was playing I'd kill Vince or whoever I saw as the biggest threat right off the bat. I think the point everyone supporting Vince is trying to make is that its really annoying that no matter what Vince plays. And while I agree with you on threat assessment, but if I was making content I wouldn't play like that. I would address Vince's board based on what he's doing, not on the off chance he might have something. Having this feud and complaining all week every week just gets so old
@DiviNazuphus
@DiviNazuphus 6 жыл бұрын
@STUDENT Richard Sakurai-Kearns Thats no different from having 10 counter spells and just countering anything remotely powerful that you play, and Tomer had a tendency to hear a card from Vince, immediately assume he will have it in his opening hand and then just attack vince over and over despite the fact he is nowhere near the biggest threat on the board. He tunnel visions, which is why vince has such a problem, Tomer doesnt care about the current board state, He hears stacks and just attacks.

I feel like if Vince had said the other part of his deck in the deck tech he would’ve been fine. Seriously, “Artifact Edric” is far less kill worthy than “Stax Edric”. It’s kinda like how Richard doesn’t say he’s playing “True Conviction Kithkin” or Tomer avoids calling his deck “Infinite Godo Coin Flip”.
@TabbyLikeAKat
@TabbyLikeAKat 6 жыл бұрын
at least he's upfront about what he's playing? I feel like it doesn't justify killing him because he doesnt try to conceal the fact that he has a combo or stax pieces in his deck like Tomers famous Kiki-Jiki or Godo combos that make no sense for the week

Vince, with the new rules update to cards that effect your opponent such as path to exile and Tabernacle it is now your opponents responsibility to remind you about them in competitive play. So even though they are your triggers you brought the tabernacle to the game. It is your responsibility to remind your opponent to do their tabernacle triggers you gave them.

As someone who likes playing stax and playing against stax, I appreciate Vince being part of these games. Also his list this week could barely be considered stax. UG is a weird color-pair for it, so it makes a little sense, but he definitely could have been a lot meaner. Looking at the decklists even, it seems like Vince had objectively the worst deck of the 4. There was definitely a good point at the end there about attacking the stax player purely because of the stigma of it while the other decks at the table are just creating an unanswerable boardstate.
@CodenameJD

Tomer, your opener had enough mana to cast everything you'd draw, an unblockable 1-drop, and could play Edric on turn 2 before anyone else... that hand was PERFECT for Edric!

It's gonna be funny when the New Year's Resolution week has Seth, Richard, & Tomer playing Stax and Vince playing a janky Penny Dreadful weenie deck, lol. It is hilarious that Vince violated so many things this week by playing an over 4,000 dollar stax deck that violates their budget restrictions and he's play an Edric Stax deck that is anti-Edric. Edit: Sorry to be that guy, but most of your decks this season have at least one combo in the deck. Granted they may have not been fully combo decks, but it's not like you're not running combos either Vince. You had Mephidross Vampire and Triskelion as a combo for the Karador deck.

I think I’m just done with commander clash and that kills me inside. I’m sorry, the complaining and whining just never stops.

Give next week a shot. I'm hoping the episode (already filmed) is far better in terms of arguing.

PleasantKenobi I've been watching this series since day one, and even though you guys went back and forth this week, that's part of the game. Don't feel like you owe anybody an explanation. I mean, Jake was known for his hateful decks. You guys seem like you're having fun, don't sweat the KZbin comments too much.

Now make decks for each of the four major factions in Halo. (UNSC, Covenant, Flood, Promethians) Just make sure to add 5 Vehicles to each deck, for that authentic Halo feel.

Yeah, that's why Richard wins a lot. He knows when to keep his mouth shut about all the mean things his deck is capable of while also not directly lying about it. He tried to go full on stacks mode and it didn't work out - true. He didn't put Choke in his deck - true. Winter Orb? Just don't mention it (and don't play it when it's not actually good, as not to draw too much hate). But while I'm at it, I also want to commend on Seth. It's come a long way since "oh, I can win this turn - oh, I tomered, I can win next turn - oh, I'm dead". The turn where shroud fizzled your combo could have had everybody on full alarm mode if not for your chilled reaction. Sure, people knew you tried something and it didn't work, but that could be anything. With recard to Edric itself, I am pleasantly surprised. As someone who does not enjoy drawing cards (that don't do anything except being 1/1s for 1 and draw more cards), I settled myself for a rather boring week, but found it quite enjoyable. All the banter on hate on Vince has settled into a intensity where it's actually funny again, and also he's a way more graceful target than Tomer. Keep up the great work! And please, please make "I tomered" a thing.

P.S. I didn't make a lenghty comment about the Vince playing Tabernacle and Stax in general because I honestly don't think it had that bad of an influence on the game. But wow, that's some hate in the KZbin comments. Remember the game with Seth on Augustin Stax? A thing of beauty.

Everyone complains about the whining and complaining but this is Commander, politics is a huge part of the game. As long as it stops when the game ends I’m okay with it

@@PleasantKenobi dude your decks have been complete garbage every single episode, i'm not sure what meta you play in but tomer attacking you weekly is 100% justifiable because your decks are so fucking shitty to play against, i thought commander clash was for entertainment and this has been the least entertaining season yet. point and case, this week you slowed the game down immensely to the point that people couldn't play their decks. i'm not sure about you but just sitting their turn after turn doing very little because someone wants to be dumb and play stax pieces isn't fun or entertainning
