Commander Deck Tech: Yasova Dragonclaw(Patron Requested)

Some pretty sweet tech for my version of this deck is synod sanctum, you get to save all your stuff for later if you're expecting a board wipe, plus in a pinch it can be used to save your commander from removal.

Xenagos' ability doesn't resolve in time to synergize with Yasova's ability.

Yes it does. You get to choose which ability triggers first.

Yasova targets. You have to choose her target as part of putting the ability on the stack. So, no, you can't buff Yasova in response to her trigger. You have to choose a legal target (If there is one) as the ability goes on the stack, even if you don't plan to pay the cost. This is relevant if your opponent has a Skulking Knight but you can't pay the cost. You can only choose to target creatures with power less than Yasova's at the time the ability triggers. This is because it's a condition on legal target ("target creature an opponent controls with power less than Yasova Dragonclaw" is all part of the same phrase describing what you're targeting) instead of a condition that is checked on resolution www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/2szngi/yasova_xenagod/

11/24/2014 : The powers of the target creature and Yasova Dragonclaw are checked as you put the ability on the stack and again as the ability resolves. Once the ability resolves, it doesn’t matter what happens to either creature’s power. Trust me, I'm as sad as you are on this; I really wanted this to work too.

unfortunately xenagose doesn’t work with yasova, bc they are both triggering abilities they go on the stack at the same time.

Pretty solid deck thank you for doing it my original temur deck was a yasova dragonclaw but I was new to comander so it kinda devolved to a big dumb creature deck with animar

There's a pirate in Ixalan that can do an Act of Treason for 3R and you don't need to tap it. Would be good in this deck lategame.
