@@TheOneTrueSirSalty Finger print shield, and bloody helice. Basically focusing on a huge amount of endurance and arcane to proc bleed. Scholars shield, boiled crab, and pickled turtle neck helps too

As a mage u can use the Zamor Ice Storm. But in his second phase you may have to restart the cheese as he escapes or if you’re lucky he stays stuck.

The only way this works is if you get away from him, it’s almost impossible to do that in the second phase because he’ll just sommon rocks to insta kill you

i tried this but was barely doing any damage. i didn’t meet the strength requirement so i was two handing it and the X went away but obviously the skill wasn’t working. i’ll equip some soreseals and strength talisman and try again. i am able to get him stuck so that’s not a problem

@@TheOneTrueSirSalty it wasn’t upgraded. it worked pretty well the first phase but i kept getting killed the second phase. i couldn’t trap him. ill try again a couple more times and then just come back later after finding more scadu tree fragments. blasphemous blade was already doing pretty good damage so ill try that and mohgs spear.

It's funny. Cuz me and my friend found out his AI is broken by COMPLETE ACCIDENT. If you want to be even safer. Have a friend just not enter the boss fight and just inflict him with Rot and Poison and just watch his health just TICK AWAY.

@@TheOneTrueSirSalty yeah we used scarlet aonia to grab aggro cuz it hits multiple times and he just runs into the boss door. But when he transitions to phase 2 he always targets the host. So you have to bring him back to the door but after that's it's pretty much rinse and repeat. Although there's a funny glitch that can happen where he can literally go through the boss fog and be in the bonfire room. Pretty rare though. Still funny as hell when it happened. 🤣

Only thing I can suggest is making sure you get some distance from him when going from the right side to the corner. Hopefully him doing his rock attacks or something to help get that distance.

Having played every souls game. Beaten virtually every boss. I've struggled more on this boss than i did gael & kos combined, within a matter of hours. Even summoning 20 different players so far, none of us have come close to beating this boss. Most of them die before me, of the boss ranomly aggros me with the charge attack lol. I dont wanna cheese him. Never been one to do that. But at this rate i just wanna see whats past this guy & come back on ng+1 & show it to him then😂

To add my scurdtree level is 11 odd, I beat the lion and renalla alone at like level 7. It feels I have virtually no boost from it lol

@@the3vilpepper218 Honestly the scadutree level doesn't feel super noticeable as you start climbing past 10. Sounds like you had an even tougher time than I did dealing with Gaius. I tried a few other peoples help but that didn't prove to be super helpful. Mimic felt useless most of the time. Would often just randomly charge me despite mimic aggro. He's a real PoS! Hopefully you get him down as he is protecting 5 fragments!
