@@Mohashm the mimic AI is trash now you need to stay close to the boss if move too far away the mimic willl ignore the boss and go towards you and I noticed that it have problems to pick a target when there is multiple enemies nearby

god bayle was such a cool fight. so far all my favorite fights in fromsoft games have all been dragons. but none top kalameet. i LOVE that fight and that dragon. named my daughter Kala. literally after a dark souls boss. but i wish i could immediately go back and fight bayle again without having to go through the entire game to do so.

Side note if you don’t summon Igon you can still get the priestess heart… you don’t really have to do the quest line I’m pretty sure the heart will just be there after you kill bayle

I can confirm that. I killed Igon before starting his quest to get his armor (no judging please), and the priestess dropped both items after the Bayle fight. I also didn't killed the dragon at the pond.

The hardest part of the bayle fight was summoning Igon, I usually die juat trying yo get him and my ash out. Without counting the several times i died just ringing the bell, he took my only 2 tries. He is aggressive but he is so much more manageable than others

You can still get the rock with guy in the chair even after beating Bayle and getting the priestess heart. Arcane is a stat that scales Bleed/Occult/Poison builds not just item discovery. Practically all of the weapons with an Arcane requirement have damage that scales off of Arcane and the effectiveness of Bleed can also scale off of Arcane if the weapon has Arcane scaling. There's a lot of strong Arcane builds (Dragon Communion incantations with the Dragon Communion Seal being one of them but that benefits more from another form). Having gear with 8 free levels of Arcane is pretty decent.

im not sure you can switch between them, but even by fast travelling or resting at grace doesnt refresh it, only way to remove is death.

make sure youre not in a safe zone, you will know if you are by the bronze shield icon on the left of the screen (same place where you see the summon icon in a boss fight). I fast travelled to the first grace of the DLC, the gravesite plain. I tried again and it worked, no armour on and use it from your inventory menu, if not working still, use the quick select menu (where you press the menu icon before selecting inventory or equipment) on the right side of the screen where you can change summon or emote, change the up arrow on the dpad, that might work. Hope this helps

I don't understand why it's so widespread. I've come across a few other creators covering SotE content, and everyone seems to mispronounce NPC names even though someone at some point says their name, thus telling you the correct pronunciation.

I i killed igon before Mesmer when he was lying on the ground. Got his armor and bell bearing. When i did dragon priest communion quest igon was already dead. I couldn’t summon him when fighting bayle which sucked. But still able to get all the items without igon

I assume the omen form is for bleed builds mostly. Raising arcane with occult weapons from black whetknife scaling arcane deals more. Not to mention all the dragon communions are arcane scaled

It gives u a very small amount of resistance but that’s it. I’m the DLC the bonus defense you get from the scadutree fragments can help though. Having the physical damage resistance talisman can also help greatly.

The omen form is good for mostly just good for raw arcane builds or madness builds, bleed/poison builds have way better options, and dragon communion has their own form, so no need. It's definitely not the most useful.
