I too have heard other commentary about this being a video game, run up the score and so on. I violently respond, "THIS IS NOT A VIDEO GAME THIS IS LIFE FOR EACH OF THESE PLAYERS. THESE REAL PLAYERS!" . I really hate this 4th wall breaking shit, I just wanna feel like I'm watching an NFL game on TV and these guys wanna talk about video games and madden. Within the Madden universe, Madden should only exist in the form of John Madden, not as a game within a game... what is this, in(ter)ception? Overall I really love Madden 18, but this sort of commentary needs to go imo. p.s. I've also been struggling with getting the right difficulty. Rookie is wayy to easy, I get 100+ points on there. Pro is too hard for me though, and I play on Simulation mode. I like the realism of simulation, but some ppl recommended doing arcade pro for an easier experience. Anyway, on Sim Pro they intercept like 8 of 10 of the passes I throw, it is insane. I've adjusted sliders, but going through a season you face different ranked opponents, so getting the right levels can be hard. With minor tweaks to sliders I've had a few good games on Sim Pro, but we'll start getting blown out by better teams. I guess my only solution for now is to do minor slider adjustments team to team through the season. If anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them. I know "get good" is the obvious answer, but I'm too lazy/old to up my reflexes and so on. I use the hitstick and such, I don't adjust QB throws or anything (idk how to switch between like a bullet and a floater/bomb). Thanks for reading my rant, happy pigskinning out there!

Skyler Meany yeah I just uploaded another commentary video where they break the fourth wall and it totally takes me out of the experience 😂 I just wanna feel good about killing the other team without them reminding me that I shouldn't really care lmao. And I know man. This is honestly the worst madden difficulty wise. Arcade on any difficulty is just.. Well arcadey and not how it should feel. Simulation on All-Pro is just fucking unfair.. It doesn't matter if you're good or not; the game will just randomly make you overthrow people, have Wideouts drop passes, allow your kicks to be blocked... Idk man.. Madden 17 is better. If you know how to change the settings to get it closer to the Madden 17 All-Pro settings then let me know 👍

Ser Tillemans Gaming I wish I was good enough to play on sim all pro, even just on sim pro I struggle. Perhaps what made pro more playable for me would make all pro more playable for you though. First, I crank my QB accuracy slider up to like 87. It sounds crazy, but all the sliders factor in ur QB stats too, so I generally need a boost to be realistic. WR Catching I crank to like 80, otherwise they drop easy throws all day. Most of my other stats I leave alone, or alter slightly. As for CPU stats, I give like 30 to QB accuracy (they still throw well), 30 to WR catching, 40 for run block. Here's the important part: I lower CPU pass coverage to around 25-30, same with pass reaction time, then I tank the CPU interceptions down to 10 or 15. Any higher and I end up throwing picks all day lol. I would recommend testing out sliders vs a good opponent, that way you can gauge the max your opponent may be putting out. I tend to also up my player Pass Coverage and Pass Reaction time to also help curb the opponent's QB. Keep in mind, I would consider myself like an average joe madden player (maybe worse). You may want to adjust my suggested slider levels to fit ur skill better, but that is what tends to work for me. Based on my skill, on sim pro with those sliders, I have gone undefeated for 9 games, but numerous games were close. If u are OK with losing a game here and there during the season, maybe half my recommended slider nerfs/buffs. Good luck out there, hope this helps.

Skyler Meany I'm stuck in the same situation with difficulty. Pro is too easy for me, I can drop 20+ point blowouts on anyone, yet I seem to struggle a lot often on All-Pro.
