just an observation, take it or leave it. You do not need to take the 75x up to 20 PSI and then dump all the pressure. just allowing a 10 min vent once it starts spitting is enough. that major pressure drop is going to make alot of water migrate out of your grains and make those bags inflate. i have a couple of the units and have been using them for 5+ years with no issue just atmospherically venting. Thanks for sharing your methods!

i keep reading that I should incubate in the dark for 3 to 5 days, your video says 2 weeks.... i have already incubated my tubs for 5 days & put them under the lights. they have been under the lights for 6 days & have turned a bright beautiful orange. hope it works out for me, I am also using a 2 year old LC syringe that I have had in my fridge (was waiting for the perfect time to use it & time got away on me)

Thanks for the video. While this is definitely geared towards commercial operations. I picked up useful tips on trying to grow at home just for hobby purposes. It's kind of a happy accident but your basic recipes are a lot easier to use at home because I can find everything at a local homebrew store / health food store. I've looked at other guides online that use peptone, etc, which is available online but I don't really need peptone for anything else. Malt powder, if nothing else I can put on ice cream. One question, if you could use bugs how would you? I was thinking of using some dried mealworms as a replacement for the nutritional yeast and part maybe all of the potato starch.
