Commercial Plumbing Rough-In for EDDC Flagship City Food Market

Project Manager Elliot Spaeder and Plumbing Foreman Nick Binney talk about their commercial plumbing project at the EDDC's new Flagship City Food Market. We have just finished the rough-in stage. Finishes and fixtures are already being put in place.
The EDDC (Erie Downtown Development Corporation) is in the process of rejuvenating Erie's Downtown core. Spaeder -- contracted through BSI -- is pleased to be a part of the process.

Sweet job!...Is it all union? It's hard enough finding guys for residential now.. I couldn't imagine what it's like in commercial fitouts.Good luck with it...Once you get to the punch list you're half way done...:) Nice to see Erie gettin some love, she was neglected most of my 60 years...Her heyday was the 40's -60's...

We are a union company. The project had a mixture of both union and non. It is great to see something new and exciting in Erie, thanks for the comment and view!

Thanks for sharing, curious how those overhead pips are installed, do you have some kind of lift that holds it in place? They seem heavy

We use pipe hangers for the hanging, and yes, lifts to get them up there..
