So…a civilian cannot take justice into their own hands ( eye for an eye, retribution) But.. a cop 👮‍♀️ can take justice into their own hands IF one of their own ( a fellow cop, a friend or a relative) is wronged???!!How is that fair?!!, the Bible says “ vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, wait for the Lord and He shall avenge you “ , It DOES NOT say “ wait for the lord ..unless you are a Police officer 👮‍♀️ “ . What’s the difference between civilian vengeance and cop vengeance?..there is none ( vengeance is vengeance, it’s the same thing, who you are makes NO difference, especially in the eyes of GOD )

Every son here in the comments knows how terrified Danny and Jaime were when Frank swiped the bottles and glasses off the bar counter. They were more afraid than anyone in the pub. When the fathers of sons get upset, it’s terrifying for the son. It doesn’t matter if you’re eight, or thirty eight. That is if you’ve had a present dad who is a disciplinarian or at least can be intense in a healthy way, when his son needs discipline. When you get older, it’s more based on respect and love. Whereas when you’re eight it’s more based on fear.

Just want to add a few more thoughts. When Frank turns around after the smash his eyes are as hard as steel. When he says, "I'll ask one more time. Who shot my boy!"there's a quiver in his voice of tremendous anger barely restrained. When Malevsky finally admits the truth he also says something about the Reagan's not being able to take a hint and snarkily singles out Jamie I love the way Jamie kind of growls back , " Not from you! At this point, I don't blame him. He was facing far worse than life imprisonment, possibly even the death penalty given that he personally murdered the police commissioner's son. It's even possible that the police will secretly torture him before that since police officers consider cop killers the worst kind of criminals, doubly so because Malevsky was a policeman himself. Would you expect a selfish person to CHOOSE to endure that kind of punishment?

Sometimes we think because a person has shown incredible restraint and extreme integrity does not mean they do not have the fortitude to stand their ground in a most difficult circumstance. It was handled with the utmost aplomb. Great job, All including writing, production. Tom Selleck is superb! 🔥🔥🔥

I know this is fiction, just a show. For many of us with LEOs all over our families, though, with fathers and brothers and uncles and aunts and so forth, this show is sometimes hard to watch but so good. I still love watching the episodes, even though I've seen almost all of them.

I don't kkow, later episodes just completely forgot about this. To the point where Danny says. 'In my opinion, all men with a badge are good cops', aparently he has never arredted a dirty cop.

Anyway, thanks for posting this fellow Blue Bloods fan! I appreciate it.
