Funny as I was thinking of a team 17 collection some time ago but decided against it. Not keen on all the games. Great vid and collection all the same. I can't believe I have something you don't. The big box CD32 Spheris Legacy. All the best and look forward to more.

Seething that you were struggling to remember the Amstrad, Steve! lol Only THE best 8-bit computer! haha Great collection overview mate and so many classics. Project-X, yeah I won't win many awards for saying it was rock hard back in the day and even going back to it fairly recently was a challenge. In the early days when I played on my friends Amiga (before I got my own A500 a bit later) I had an Atari ST and could never understand why Team 17 games weren't out for the ST.....to be honest it was only fairly recently that I read that they were an Amiga exclusive developer (at least when it came to the home computers anyway) so that would explain that one.

Haha Knowledge is power! Yeah, they were all experienced Amiga coders. From memory the only ST Team 17 related game was Stardust but even then Team 17 were the publisher and another house did the development. There is a good Stardust Amiga V ST video on YT actually.....the ST(E) version sounds great but most developers were either clueless at utilising the STE's (E for enhanced just in case you didn't know!) sound or simply couldn't be bothered. Maybe by the time devs cracked it we were too far down the road and the PS1 era was on the horizon. Stardust shows that with a little bit more effort the Amiga and ST battle should have been a lot closer when it came to the audio quality.

Great collection there, Steve. Some in absolutely tip top condition. Thanks for uploading these collection videos. They serve as a great cross reference point for collectors like me who may collect these specific developer/publisher lines. I get the name of the title, an idea of the box size and the box art. Thanks for taking tbe time to upload them. Very useful!

With hair like that I'm glad I'm bald 😉 (I'm jealous really!) You have a fantastic collection mate and It's great to see the games you have in the collection. Team 17 is a great subset to start with. I've got a few of those on either the CD32 or Amiga Floppy. When you originally bought that small boxed Body Blows it seemed impossible to fine, after that a slew of them arrived on eBay. I think Team 17 used Ocean to publish their games because of their size mate and marketing power. I love those small boxed games. I only had Arcade Pool back in the day. and I only have Alien Breed '92 now. Alien Breed II was the only one I completed back in the day (AGA) I loved it!! Tower Assault was brutally hard from what I remember. Like you, I have more nostalgia for the black Super Frog box. It's the only T17 game I have on both systems. Assassin was the first Team 17 game that I bought, then Project X and Super Frog. The AGA version of Body Blows is quite difficult to find. Ultimate Body Blows never got a big box release mate. I think it's a combination of both games for the CD32. I loved Overdrive, never played ATR. The music on the AGA version of Stardust is amazing. It's a shame the title tune didn't transfer across to the CD32 version. The box you have for Worms DC is less common than the one I've got. I wonder who published that one. I need to find out 🤣 (I found out that Guildhall published the re-release) One of those compilations was bundled with the Critical Zone CD32 pack. The one you're missing. It's quite hard to find. I'll keep an eye out too Steve. I love you're dedication mate! Awesome stuff. Congratulations on the 1k milestone too buddy, it's well deserved!!

😂😂I’m 2 months overdue a haircut but everytime I look at buying clippers I think “that’s the money for another Psygnosis game”😂 Yeah mad about body blows, can’t believe it had so many versions and variants for such a mediocre game imo Hope you’re keeping safe mate, guessing works keeping you busy but think about all us in lockdown awaiting your next Amiga pickups vid😉stop being lazy ha

I was so pleased to see this pop up, the Amiga lockdown video I needed, and it didn’t disappoint. Wow thank you for mentioning my IG account, I really appreciate that. Feels like seeing myself on TV 😂 I don’t own Full Contact but I’ve heard that (like Miami Chase) it boots up with the Team 7 logo instead of 17? Yeah I think Alien Breed, Project X and Assassin were all too hard as originally released. I think the Ocean Team 17 tie in started because T17 thought Worms was going to be big and needed a bigger publisher, but I don’t know why it continued after that. The non-slipcase version of The Directors Cut has the Ocean logo on it which the slipcase one doesn’t. Right, I’m going to watch this again.cant wait for the rest of the collection videos.

Awesome collection ! Team 17 were my favourites on the Amiga , alongside Cinemaware. Their games were easy to get into , but a b!£€# to beat. I collected the Alien breed games and also got Superfrog. Great video my good man.

Sinisteve Retro Gamer more so then any other system? Aren’t all prices for retro games on the rise? I think I’ll get a modified Amiga with all games and just pick up a small collection of boxed complete games. The games I used to have/play.

I’d actually say most console games in the last year have levelled out in the last year, Amiga seems to have doubled🙈 I’d recommend an A1200 with 8mb fast ram and whdload, will have faster loading then too👍

Love Team 7/17 1st game I played was alien breed that intro with the ship coming into the mother ship the voices in game killed me player 1 needs 1st aid let alone the music outstanding on Project X even before Team 17 .. Team 7 with Miami chase top down racer Amazing collection Steve

Very nice selection of games, Team 17 put out a lot of quality games. Their offices are about ten minute drive away from me. I always liked Project-X but it's brutal, I still struggle with the first boss, annoying blue thing! The special edition of Assassin is the only one I've ever played, only ever seen the original on YT and I'm sure it starts in a different area

Super frog was remade into a HD version a couple of years ago but the original is a lot better. Does your copy of Alien Breed 3d has the black book?. There was a book that contained the access codes and it was all black, so that we couldn't Xerox it. :) Clever people. Nice collection.
