Full Fat dairy is good. Low fat dairy is bulked up with either sugar or other additives. Fat is healthy. We’ve been eating it since the beginning of time.

Low fat milk is lactic acid juice. The fat in milk counteracts the acids. I'll take whole fat with my milk. 😁

I haven't since 2019. Definitely find some new things to do with your time and be warned you may not see some friends as much once you quit. You'll feel so much healthier and confident though I promise. Then you start looking for new ways to improve mentally and physically. Definitely the right move. Just get it all out of the house and pick a sentimental purpose to quit so you hold yourself accountable when times are tempting. Its easier to quit forever than take breaks. I just ended up drinking daily again when I did that so just a warning. You can do it!

Can I fry foods in good oils such as tallow? Does that still cause transfats?

Always been told full fat dairy especially Yogurt. Is this a issue for the liver?
@DrJinSungАй бұрын
Full-Fat Dairy Products Examples: Whole milk, cream, butter, full-fat cheese, and ice cream. Impact on Liver: These foods are high in saturated fats, which can lead to the buildup of fat in the liver, increasing the risk of fatty liver disease. Also, there are a lot people with dairy sensitivities but don't realize it until they stop eating it. Sensitivities leads to inflammation. Mechanism: The liver struggles to process excessive saturated fats, leading to fat accumulation, inflammation, and insulin resistance.

@ so my high fat, low-carb diet, including lots of grass fed butter, grass fed meats, and whole milk Yogurt and Kiefer is not good for me.

Grass fed has a different make up than conventional grown. I am all for grass fed grass finished beef.

@@DrJinSung Please address the carnivore diet. If you are all for grass fed beef what about the saturated fat in that beef? Also why is saturated fat from healthy nutrient dense meat (not procesed) bad for your liver? I don't believe that sat fat harms the liver if not in the presence of carbs. Carbs need insulin to be processed by the liver. If no carbs and little to no insulin how does any part of the body hold onto fat? I just lost 40lbs eating a fat+meat diet. I'm not getting a fatty liver.

What about saturated fats from things like coconut oil or Gee butter or regular butter
@dreamlife808Ай бұрын
Im going to disagree with you about saturated fat. I have been doing the carnivore diet for 8 months and I'm thriving. I am fat adapted. Obviously people who eat carbs should not eat the amount of animal fat and salt that I consume in a day. But you should make a caveat here because people on carnivore MUST eat saturated fat and salt. I have Hemachromatosis, which is the iron loading disorder you spoke about...and you would think that my diet which consists of eggs, beef, butter, lamb, and pork with occasional fowl and occasional goat and sheep cheeses, all of it pasture raised from a butcher in my town) would cause my liver to suffer, but the opposite is true. In fact, I used to experience direct pain in my liver upon consuming non heme iron from plants like spinach and fortified grains. When I switched to meat only, the pain disappeared. My ND has done stool, toxins and hormone profile testing and my results amaze her every time. She's actually doing a 30 day carnivore challenge in November to see how it impacts her health. Please check out the amazing benefits of this lifestyle yourself. I am currently the healthiest I've ever been at 54 years old, tons of energy, ideal weight, no chronic conditions or pain in my body and I can lift weights, run sprints 3 times a week and sleep like a baby for 8hours plus every night. Saturated fat and animal protein is my fuel!!❤

I believe saturated fats in fast food is different due to use of high amounts of salt and sauces which contain lots of sugar. Couple that with breads, fries and dairy(conventional not grassfed/free range sources). Of course having a good source of quality grass fed, grass finished meats is very different from conventionally grown beef.
@dreamlife808Ай бұрын
@@DrJinSungyes sir. You cannot combine a high fatty meat carnivore diet with seed oil fried foods and sugar. This is what actually does the damage. The salt and fatty meat only, all by itself, is a healing diet. It can reverse autoimmune diseases, diabetes and things like PCOS, ADD/ADHD. It's a game changer in some many ways. Please check it out. Dr. Anthony Chaffee is a very good resource.

Sad to see full fat dairy here. No one will ever stop me from consuming diary as close to real milk as possible. Low fat options are always processed and far worse is my opinion.
