In the case that someone has already developed bone spurs, would it be advised to first do a debridement, or could Prolotherapy overcome the bone spur causing pain?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Arminsaf2, Good question. It is case by case, just like with any medical treatment. The patients who come to our center are most often looking to avoid surgery but if we felt that surgery was truly the best route for their case, we would recommend it. Ultimately, would need to see the imaging and do a physical exam and comprehensive history and talk with the patient in greater detail to know the ideal treatment options for their situation.

Does this work for pinch tendon in shoulders and tendonitis and bursitis and arthritis also in shoulders and neck

Very interesting. And once completed, how long will the treatment last?

Hi Carla, The treatment stimulates your body to repair, so unless the area is re-injured or didn't repair fully, it would stay resolved. It's not like a drug that wears off.

Can prolotherapy be of use for ligament laxity and pain in a knee that has already had an ACL reconstruction in 2004? I am too scared to do a revision ACL but I could probably tolerate prolo. I'm fully functional and over tha last 4 years since injury of the knee my knee has improved in both pain and stability but I still have ligament laxity and pain. So wondering if prolotherapy could be of use.

I am on bone on bone and gone through PRP treatments and stem-cell treatments as well. But no improvements as expected. Will this treatments is a cure for my issue?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy5 жыл бұрын
Hi sen, Sorry to hear about your bone on bone issue. There is a huge difference in techniques used by providers, as in any medical treatment, and it could be that if you were only receiving one injection of stem cells or PRP into the joint, the provider was not using a comprehensive enough technique. The reason patients travel to our office is that we utilize H3 Prolotherapy, which treats more areas of the joint, inside and around. You can see examples of treatment techniques on our channel. Often we combine the traditional H3 Prolotherapy with PRP or stem cells for advanced bone on bone cases. The aim is to correct the underlying reason the joint became bone on bone: joint instability due to ligament laxity. We'd be happy to review your case. You can email us directly through our website or info@caringmedical.com. Take care for now. Thanks for reaching out.

I noticed on your website there is a number for a Southwest Florida location. I live in the Northwest part of Florida a long ways from your FL office. Who would you recommend that I go see in my area for the best cutting edge prolotherapy with stem cell and blood platelet options? Thank you for your time.
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy7 жыл бұрын
Hi Jacob, Thank you for reaching out. Glad that you are in Florida too! We treat patients who travel to us from all over the world (throughout the US and internationally) because of the types of specialized treatments we do. Therefore, we do not know anyone who has the same amount of experience and offers the same types of treatments. We have helped patients from throughout Florida. If it is possible for you to travel to see us, our team would be happy to talk with you about suggested travel arrangements and schedule an appointment for you. We can discuss your case in more detail beforehand too. Feel free to reach out to us directly at info@caringmedical.com. Look forward to helping you soon. Take care!

I am 56 years old. I suffered a severe knee injury 40 years ago from a motorcycle accident. My orthopedic surgeon has indicated I have very little or no meniscus left and quite a bit of arthritis. Does the fact my injury occurred so long ago reduce my chances of getting relief using prolotherapy? Thank you.
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. Prolotherapy is used for arthritis. It's the main condition that we see because it's the painful end result of injuries after years or decades. We would love to see how we can help you. If you'd like us to take a closer look at your case to see if you sound like a good candidate for our clinics, please reach out to us directly at info@caringmedical.com. You can feel free to send us the recent x-ray or MRI report too. If you prefer to talk with someone over the phone, that's great too: 708-393-8272. Look forward to helping you more soon. Have a great day!

Could prolotherapy work on a loosened acl ligament that has been reconstructed?
@thienduong547 жыл бұрын
same question
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy7 жыл бұрын
Prolotherapy is often used on patients who have had knee surgery that did not cure the pain or instability. Sometimes surgery was needed for the ACL, but loosened up other areas during the surgery, or the other areas were not addressed. In instances of a full tear ACL that was reconstructed, there are often additional structures of the knee that are tender/unstable/loose as well and these cases generally respond very well to Comprehensive Prolotherapy, in our experience. Comprehensive Prolotherapy means the whole knee is treated, not just a couple of injections. You can see examples of a comprehensive technique in our other videos. For patients who are struggling with knee instability after surgery, consulting a Prolotherapist may be helpful.

Is this effective for ACL laxity? If yes, then PRP/Bone marrow which is more effective
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy5 жыл бұрын
Hi Rizwan, Yes, Prolotherapy is used for ACL laxity. In most cases, the technique is more of the concern than the solution. We use H3 Prolotherapy which is a comprehensive injection technique for all the ligament/tendon attachments of the joint. One shot of cells (PRP or BM) is not as effective as a comprehensive injection technique using dextrose Prolotherapy, possibly with some non-cellular additives to the solution to strengthen it. If you would like us to review your knee case, we're happy to. Thanks for the question.

Will this therapy work on bone on bone?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Fran, Good question. We do help bone on bone cases but it is not appropriate for every case. It depends on the overall deterioration of the joint and the anatomical changes that have already occured that may be limiting range of motion and gait, as well as taking a look at the person's overall health and really understanding their functional goals. Once we have done a proper physical exam and history, we are able to tell patients what we recommend and discuss options more specific to their case.
