How lovely it is to see two humans speaking kindly, and with gratitude and respect. World, take a lesson. This is how we need to behave with each other --- ALWAYS.

⛩️🕍Lovingkindness in Buddhism is like the sense of a more complicated LOVE of which Common speaks. Also, it like the Hebrew, “G’milut chasadim,” which is also the name of the St. Thomas Historic Synagogue founded 2 years before the Synagogue itself in 1794. It was the name of their Danish governmentally allowed burial society.

Common is great with certain TYPES of love. Hes a hopeless romantic but definitely a commitment phobe. I’m from the South Side of Chicago and he’s been this smooth, charming & disarming since 1991 but he changes women like cars. 😂😂

I’ve been a Catholic and I was raised a Catholic, but I study science and I found truth in evolution and became atheist. Religion is just not true. I love your show Stephen Corbert love your show, but people who believe in religion don’t believe in facts you believe in fairytales, but I still watch your show you so funny….
@itsonlysound10 ай бұрын
If people are able to accept scientific facts, believe in 'fairytales' *and* treat everyone with kindness and respect, then let them. I get your issue with those who use their religion as a stick to beat others with or who hide who they truly are (usually awful people) behind it, but Stephen isn't one of those people.
@wendigo5310 ай бұрын
Well. Lots of Christians believe in evolution, and lots of scientists are Christians. Even Christians can be skeptical about aspects of the bible. I see it this way: people (who can be just as flawed as I can be) wrote the bible, in a long, convoluted process. Some parts are important (like the 10 commandments) and some just aren't important - like (maybe for you) anything you think contradicts evolution, and (for me) anything Paul wrote. (A strict implementation of Paul's teachings results in the Catholic church turning out priests that are mostly pedophiles. I have a problem with that.) Of course, there may be lots of other reasons to go from "Catholic" to "atheist"... Good luck on your spiritual journey.

Same here. Don't let anyone spoil your joy. I always say to people, "I am who I am. I know who I am, but I'm afraid to tell you who I am. Because if I tell you who I am, you may not like it and I'm afraid that's all I've got." (me).

Yes. Stephen says, "When Peter gets out of the boat to walk across the water, and he falls in, I gotta imagine Jesus laughed." From Matthew 14:25-31, in which Jesus walks on water, and Paul manages but only for a moment 🌊
