My Creda 950DL electric shower doesn’t work properly. The Mid LED light stays off - water runs cold at full pressure. Turned the water flow dial to extreme hot - then water gets lukewarm, while the flow from the showerhead is weak. Both High LEDs stays on, while the Mid LED stay off. After watching your repair video, I tested components… I then tried to remove component/s. However, after spending about an hour trying…I found they were not straightforward to remove. I then replaced the cover and left it. I suppose because the Creda 950DL is so difficult to repair, why there is no information online showing how to repair them??? So, I guess it's a new shower?!

Got a Triton T70xr The solenoid has gone Its stuck open at shower off and pull cord off. Okay if that hadn't happened we would never found out that when off 12 o'clock on the power dial the water is still hot. Is this normal? Or has the switch gone, using the overheat safety cut out to stop the power when the showers off at the dial. After the switch went slack it did boil for two seconds when off and solenoid closed.

My shower doesn't heat the water and I check the continuity of the tco with a multimeter in (20 ohms) and shows 0.1... It means is dead or not.? Thanks

I have changed 4 to 5 shower heads due to build of limescale in them.. the shower temp was irregular going from hot to cold. I then decided to remove the head from the hose and turned shower on ...the water temperature was constant. However what I saw in the water shocked me. So much limescale and other debris coming out of hose. Water supply out kitchen is fine as well as the bath and Handwash basin. Is there a filter in the shower unit that needs changing.

The heating tank in the unit is causing this as the elements are causing the fault, changing the internal heating tank should fix this problem.

This advice could cause you more grief if your not an Electrician. In order to test the stat properly I advise disconnecting one end in order to ensure there's no back feed through a neon, solenoid coil or motor winding causing your tester to beep with the stat contacts open.

All electric showers are wired in to a house that has one and when being worked on they must be completely isolated from the power supply. No one knows if the one in the video is not wired or not except the producers of the video
