What I HEAR with Bifenthrin is that it 'controls' fire ants. In that you spray the whole yard, watering, or a gentle rain, pushes it into the soil, and you've killed the fire ants before they start producing mounds. Now, do I SEE that with my yard? No. It usually only works once you see the mounds, then blanket the yard with it, and of course, push it down with gentle watering. I'm not sure why people treat it as a preemergent, save that people see my yard with one mound, see me blanket spray and think, "Ah, he must have killed the fire ants before they became a problem." Which I guess is true, but only because I walk my yard daily and blanket sprayed after I saw the first mound.

@@procutslawnI’ve never seen msm work on poa at a rate that wouldn’t hurt desirable grass. Msm can kill trees at a certain rate

I had someone ask me about moss yesterday. I really don't know a whole lot about it other than it grows where the grass doesn't typically grow

Enjoy your videos Jason. Question: here in the north Texas area we are in the 70s the soil temperature is already above the 55 mark. Did I miss the pre emergent window?

If it got to 70 for one or two days then you are probably fine. If it's been in the 70s for several days then you may be a little late. I would put a pre-emergent down as soon as possible

MSM turf works good on POA but it takes a little time maybe a month to kill it May also have to put 2 applications of MSM Turf post emergent as well

Too much resistance to Foramsulfuron. Run Rimsulfuron. Or simply cover all basis with Sureguard.
