I’m slowly but surely learning that I need to be strict with my standards and boundaries with men. Growing up, I was taught to be more tolerant of men, but nothing comes from being the nice girl except heartbreak and pain. I’m over it 😂 **EDIT** I love how Chloe’s comment section is it’s own sisterhood. Thank you all for your advice and encouragement❤️

DATE MULTIPLE MEN! It solves a lot of what you’re struggling with. It’s the best tactic to keep you from over emotionally investing in one man before he’s has committed to you. It keeps you from spending too much time with one man, you’ll have a great time learning to receive from men without feeling you need to do anything in return. No need to be bitchy, stay sweet but advocate for self.

He meant not a career woman. Probably a house woman who serves her husband and raise her children gracefully. Very feminine chic and inspiring. Cook and clean …Mrs Michelle followed her husband vision up until the children were older….I’m just speculating that’s what he wants. He seemed to be the type who wants his women all about him 😬 Obama literally is in loooove with his wife. He cherishes her. Common has yet to show those same things for women. Therapy is needed.

To be fair, women need to take responsibility as well. If a dude ASKS me out....he needs to be clear about his intentions within 60 to 90 days....whether he is looking for something serious or casual. If he is vague or silent on the issue...I simply make myself available to be pursued by others. I had one guy who was pissed and to this day (3 years later) cannot look me in the eye. He thought he was going to play on my time and looked up and I was with someone else one week after he last took me out.
@db7234
@db7234 3 жыл бұрын
@Cocoa Rose it doesn’t take 60 to 90 days for a man to know his intentions. People know if they are ready to focus on a relationship (settle down in the near future if they find the one) or if they just want something casual. You should know this within the first week of meeting a person. Before you even go out on a date.

@@db7234 it may not take 60 or 90s days to state intimate intentions, but that only benefits casual. A man who says he is looking for a relationship and takes you on a date can still be playing games. That 60-90 days (aka how long men can fake if you let them), LIFE intentions need to be clear.A man cannot tell you he wants xyz if at minimum his Jan-March(or 1st quarter 2022) isn't planned out by the end of this week. Not dividing man intentions (his own goals and ambitions to compete) and man with woman intentions is where we give leeway for no reason. It doesn't sound "romantic" all the time or feel like you don't "fit in"initially. You fit in when you are in his life. Truly personal things aren't said month 1, but the perimeter can be.

Common gives me those "living for a new experience" vibe. Like, he's truly interested in the women he dates but besides them giving up the goods, he also gets a taste of their adventures and their world and a fresh start. Once he's bored of that, he calls it quits with no hard feelings. He reminds me of those boys from high-school who dated almost every girl, yet he's still cool with all of them after the breakup like nothing ever happened.

Common doesn't want marriage and he doesn't want kids. My issue with alot of people who live unconventional lives is that they go after people who don't want the same things. I don't know what it is about their own kind that puts them off. I agree with those who are saying that he will wake up one day and realize that he is getting old and his peter pan selfish lifestyle is impractical then marry whoever out of convenience, and then try to spin things like he finally found the one but we will know, we will all know.
@kathyalex778

I think a lot of people today date and marry based solely on physical attraction, and that's one of the reasons why lots have many sexual partners and the divorce rate is so high. When you don't find someone who shares the same values and direction in life, you'll definitely be miserable in the long term, confused, and praying and hoping your partner will magically change someday. Some people take "opposites attract" way too far and find someone who shares nothing with them but lust and "go with the flow" mindset 🤷‍♀️

I believe 90% of the things you mentioned are red flags women choose to ignore. EXAMPLE: 1) ten year engagements. 2) going for guys that they KNOW have a horrible dating history. 3) going for guys already in relationships. 4) allowing men to have access to their accounts. I've known very intelligent women who did these things. I used to try say something when I saw my GFs go down that road. Now, I 've learned to keep my mouth shut. They don't want to hear it, because they already KNOW, and don't want it pointed out. I used to think women were naive when it came to men. Now I believe many go into these relationships with their eyes wide open. The common denominator seems to be the idea that they are going to be that SPECIAL someone who gets a different result. There's definitely some self delusion there. Just don't come to me complaining when it doesn't work out.

I have two thoughts on this the first is I believe Common chooses women who he thinks other men wouldn’t likely choose first. That way he can be the “ prize” in the relationship” because the woman might have a sense of Wow he picked me? I’m so lucky in other words validation from a man. The second part is that I believe that when you are dating as a woman of faith you should not be dating a man that you would not marry. In other words if you and him have not discussed what the purpose of your courtship is and the goal is not mutual than move on period. My husband and I meet discussed that we wanted to court towards marriage and in five weeks he proposed we have been married 10 years as of last month. All praise to the Lord. FYI this was a behavior I had to learn after doing things the wrong way 🥰

This video describes the vast majority of men that I've met in my life. I recall a man telling me that he lost count of how many women that he slept with, I asked him if he slept with more than a few hundred, he said yes, but he don't recall the exact amount and of course he made it seem like his promiscuity took place in his younger years but come to find out, at 53 he was still womanizing and sleeping with lots of women. I've come to conclude that when a man tells me about his shameful past, I believe that he is the same person until he proves otherwise. I no longer give people the benefit of doubt.

Yea that is such a turn off! And I don't believe people change. I believe they can make alterations to their character and behaviors, but change? I used to think it was possible, but not anymore. We are who we are based on our childhood and life experiences; in order to change that, we'd have to go back in time and redo childhood and the things we experienced in life. That's just my opinion...If you're generally a nice/kind-hearted person, that's just who you are by nature. You might be able to grow/learn to have tough skin, but the core of who you are, is exactly that. Your overall moral compass cannot be changed.

I've never delt with this kind of guy before but it looks like Common has commitment issues and unresolved issues that could stem from his past somewhere. I also agree with Chloe that he doesn't give off provider protector vibes. He looks like the receiver in his relationships. As always therapy is the way to go. Broken people tend to choose each other whether they mean to or not. Hopefully him and Tiffany consider going to therapy. I don't think life-long bachelors behave like this. Generally you know or if not they won't lie to you about their level of commitment. But even so, you can tell by their dating history and lifestyle that they are not the types to marry and have kids. In my opinion bachelors are easier to read than future fakers because there's little manipulation or zero involved.

Avoid a man who has never been married, and especially if he is older and has a past history of problems with women. Better run. There is a reason why that man is still single. And there are no exceptions in that, you will not change him, and you will regret wasting your time. He is quite happy being a bachelor and loves the seduction game, plenty of practice, he is good at it, he gets a rush from it, he gets high on making women melt. It's like cotton candy: sweet, beautiful, melts in your mouth, but doesn't last, and it leaves you feeling hungry, and it has a negative effect on your health. Ends with you disappointed and frequently cheated on, and the fool playing victim with the next woman to justify why he never got married.

I feel like roster dating is underrated and understated. Players are good for boosting your ego. Common like Leo, are just going to rotate young women in and out through the revolving doors until Father Time shows up or they start to feel their mortality. Women need to start learning to judge men as they judge us. Some men are players, play with them then move on to your husband. These men are great for women when we are sowing our oats and also getting a come up from their financial support and connections. Don’t take it personal, people are out here doing whatever. You have to look out for your own interests.

Women need to stop ignoring not every man wants a relationship.Not every man wants to provide.Some just want convenient sex and company.Also, men often view us as objects not people. They like to flaunt talented and rich women like a "look what I got" typeof thing..Women are more honest about what we want in these situations bc men are likely to be down. Women on the other hand,have to be buttered up and get something to open up in that way especially if they are high value or high earning women. Jlo is the same exact way as Common and many other celebrities. Lots of these celebs have commitment issues or just made it so far (financially and time wise)in singleness they almost dont want fulltime companionship. I hope many women learn from her public experience of being too eager to have a man. Because, this experience can make her a stronger person who develops concrete boundaries with herself and other people. From these experiences, “the victim” can learn to develop discernment and trust her intuition as a guide. And ladies, don’t listen to people trying to shame you because you learned to level up from a future faker. What do men like Common learn from a break up? Nothing.
