Does NOT help if he’s taking marraige-ready black women off the market Temporarily just to throw them back in the water. Those women are well into there 40s and do Not have time for that. Takes added time to get over a breakup and back on the dating market without being “on the rebound” all the time too.

Common is the John Mayer of the black community I cringe every time I see somebody date him. Unfortunately these are the kinds of guys I have dated in the past The “good guys” They Seem good and look good on paper but still no ring, emotionally unavailable but want you to be in your feelings so they get girlfriend perks without the responsibility. Serena was wise to not Alexis slip through her fingers. These bm on You Tube like to minimize Serena's husband's financial status, but these men fail to see that at the end of the day, Alexis is no slouch in the finance department. I said years ago Common was not the marrying kind, my ex said maybe Common just hasn't found the right one. I argued at Common's age he must have found the right woman by now and it's just an excuse to remain a playboy. Common knows he doesn't have competition and will only commit when he is old or sick enough to need a companion until then it's 'Playdates Anyone?'

I often wonder why people even bother when there is so much Infidelity. I'd say he's a Free Agent & it's okay if he never marries. Poor advice/ nobody's gonna take u serious/ if ur dating someone else while ur dating them. Ur gonna get played. If women make men respect them they'll get better results. Don't give up the cookies too soon. Stop looking for ballers/ money is good / A man making 70k might be better for you than the guy making 200k. People who make good money can be arrogant and cocky. That's why women need to be making their own money.

But, remember BW also must wait for the ring or walk down the isle to actually reveal their partner. White men also like to play around, aka Brad Pitt who “dated” BW but never intended to marry one. This is a white men playbook that BM borrowed. Don’t reveal who you are partnered with until that ring is on your finger and vows have been made.

Serena was living her best life before she met her husband. She was living her best life because of her hard work, sacrifices she made for her tennis career. She is a pro star athlete. We need to stop giving credit to men as the reason a woman is living her best life. Women can and do live their best lives with or without a man. Men can only enhance or decline your life. Living your best life is all on you.

I had a friend tell me that like 25 years ago! She said "These men will date you forever!" I remember watching Oprah where the topic was men who refuse to marry their girlfriends! It had white and black frustrated women! One black lady, who was 45, had been with her man for 25 years and a younger white lady had three children with her man and had lived with him for 8 years! She even looked at the camera and pleaded with him to marry her! There were other women but those are the two that I remember the most! That show should be on KZbin as a cautionary tale not to wait too long for that ring!

@Meta Doll You - "You have to date around especially when a particular group of men are known for being time wasters.. They will "date" you for 50 years and still kick you to the curb like nothing happened." Response - A pedestalized group of people (men and women) are serial marry-ers. Elizabeth Taylor for example got married about seven or eight times I think (eight times to seven different men). Then you have David Foster, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Larry King, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Melanie Griffith, Nicolas Cage, Richard Pryor, Kelsey Grammer, Pamela Anderson, Joan Collins, Kenny Rogers and probably a bunch more married several(four?) or more times. The only one that's well known from a particualr group is Richard Pryor. I wonder do people consider getting married and divorced several times time-wasting??? I don't see that big a difference between serial marriage/marrying and serial non-marital relationships. They're BOTH part of the modern USA culture. Also long-term common-law type relationships where people are together for many years even decades without formal marriage are probably practically better than marrying and divorcing three, four, five times. Let's not act like there aren't men AND women who are common-law married and happy...doing just fine, and from various demographics in this modern western USA culture. My point...or at least a point I could make is marriage in today's/modern society is NOT the end-all be-all. A person can be quick to marry you and JUST AS quick to divorce you. Marriage has overall lost a LOT of its meaning in this overall culture...this western civilization and culture which was NOT established by a particular group of people. I am curious for people's answer to this question(s): What is marriage, where did it come from, what's its meaning, and what's its purpose? The answer could be in general or as it relates to the modern europeanized/euro-centric civilization and culture...western culture we live in/under.

Black women please jump in the game. Do what black men are doing. Keep your options open, be selfish with your womb just like they are with commitment and also date out like they do. Look at all these different groups of men who love black women. Look at women like Grace Jones and the number of European men she has been with, Eve, Serena Williams, etc. the “other races of men don’t like black women” is a myth just like “black love” is a myth.

These type men present themselves as a stable, respectful, loving option but in private they say and do things such as gaslighting. These men purposeful find smart, talented, engaging women because they want to emotionally drain them like a vampire.

A narcissist - extreme self-involvement to the degree that it makes a person ignore the needs of those around them. A psychopath -a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior. Either educate yourself or stop trying to diagnose someone you don't even know based on some misguided post by a self proclaimed swirl guru for Black women.

I don’t think he has narcissistic symptoms. His behavior is very “Common” amongst MOST black men on the dating market these days. Narcissism is a disorder and leads to abuse, I haven’t heard anything about him being abusive and the “Erykah Badu” factor seems to be a thing- no men coming from her lair is gonna be out here being narcissistic towards black women. 😆 I Do think he needs major Therapy as Most black people in America do, by default but especially on this issue of black relating. 👍🏽

I always thought something was off about Common and his chronic, high profile dating without marriage. He may be socially conscious and community focused, but he's maladaptive when it comes to interpersonal relations. Wealthy men tend to marry (over and over again!) but they marry and create a legacy. He's 50 and still dating and 'breaking up' like a kid. It's like arrested development.

IamAneika+ The only thing you should be 'shaking your head' at, is your obvious capacity for self deceit! There is hardly a "black" man who has ever "dogged" Serena by "insulting" her facial, and other physical features. On the contrary, Serena arguably became just as well known off the court BECAUSE of the appreciation of those very same physical features by "black" men. For years (up to the present) Serena has been FAVORABLY featured/referenced in just about every "black" publication and online forum. On the other hand, European Americans have insulted/degraded/mocked/ridiculed/dehumanized both Serena and her sister from the day they dared to step on to the tennis court. Her physical features, & even the sound she makes when serving the ball, have been compared to the animals in National Geographic by so called "white" Americans!! Those of European descent hate her so much, that they cheered for Naomi Osaka, even while Serena represented the U.S.A in a championship match;.......after which a European newspaper cartoonist went on to further ridicule her in a degrading/dehumanizing fashion. If you hate those of your own ethnicity, then grow up and simply say so. Do not make "black" men guilty for the crimes of "white" ones. There is no need to engage in delusion and self deceit in order to create some seeming 'justification' for YOUR own craving for pale skinned association. If you wish to date outside your "race", then simply do so....... without the use of ridiculous/laughable tales!

This isn’t about childhood trauma. As Kristelyn said he is simply a rich black man with access to many women so he has no desire to commit to just one. Successful black men statistically are the least likely to marry. It’s just that simple. We often seek complex reasons for why something happens when most times the most simple explanation is the truth.

The black community is headed down a rabbit hole that will be hard to come back from. I see men saying that black women are not worth marrying and black women saying the same about black men. I don't know where this hate towards each other is coming from but I fear the damage will be irreversible.
@GoddessBlueYozakura7
@GoddessBlueYozakura7 2 жыл бұрын
It's a bit obvious where the hate comes from. BM collectively are at the bottom economically. They don't posses wealth nor generational wealth when compared to ALL other races of men. To offset this issue many BW try to over compensate by giving him a pass on being a builder, protector and provider usually by masculizing herself. This means she gets the dreaded strong black woman label that's supposed to hunt, kill and gather all while reciting scripture. Problem is that as much as many BM don't want to do the hard work, they also want her to be sweet, feminine and submissive. Those two things don't really go together. It's like someone wanting a monogamous roommate they get to sleep with that only has eyes for him, meanwhile he want to be polygamous with any race of woman preferably a woman that has the most powerful race of man. Most BM look at WM as the most powerful so getting one of his race of women is seen as obtaining a form of power. So it makes sense that once the do have some semblance of wealth usually through " entertainment" because they rarely level up any other way, they tend to want their female counterpart to be an example of that wealth. Poor BM do the same thing but their WW usually is an overweight/ obese type. Still for many of them it beats an overweight BW that shares their feature, skin color or hair texture and reminder of who they are. Now the hatred for black women stems from their black mothers and the lack of black fathers. In hid mind it's her fault his father left him behind yet if you notice as an adult most BM don't go looking for their adult children.It's when they're on their deathbed or needing a kidney do they get people to shame their abandoned offspring into showing up to give to a person that was selfish in ignoring their needs when he was healthy as a horse.

From what I’ve noticed many successful black men that are public figures, tend to marry very late in life; once they have exhausted several dating pools and realize that they are indeed mortal and are looking back on a shallow legacy. Often due to age related limitations their choices have narrowed a bit and possibly their minds have expanded. Think about how many life long bachelors have settled down in their 60s and 70s.

So she started dating DOC to get rid of Common.

Sounds to me like those women are great contributors because they knew what they wanted didn't align w/ the desires of Common. The Leopard 🐆 hasn't changed his spots.

As a black man I’m gonna have to agree.. I’ve never dated outside my race and it’s soo hard to find wife material…I think both genders should go where they’re appreciated and respected.

What exactly is wife material? I have heard from dating in my past that I am wife material yet I am single. Men need to focus on being husband material and stop interfering w a women's greatness if he can't/won't add value to her life..

Um, Tiffany Haddish is kind of ghetto. Common was as high as she would ever get. I think they deserved each other. Now, Simone Biles, Brandy, Michelle Williams all deserve better men. I hope someone helps Simone Biles with a man of means from another community. Black men she dates are just using her

Great video. She's on point. A female friend of mine, told me this guy she's been Dating for yrs won't marry her. I told her, stop giving him all of you and wait til marriage. She just looked at me. I said, he's not the problem, you are. You have to be available to him to be used. Why should he marry you if he's already getting the best of you.

Another GREAT video🤩💕 I'm so glad you pointed out Serena being the only one who eventually got married (and guess who turned out to be the best man for the job... 👀🤭🙌🏾). Serena is a beautiful example of a woman who values herself and has a winner's mentality and that mentality is what made her iconic. Serena plays to WIN 🎾🏆. She broke off the relationship with Common when she realized she was dating a loser. She made sure she did not add to the statistics of the out of wedlock rate by having a child AFTER marrying Alexis who valued her enough to marry her BEFORE allowing her to literally risk her life to bring a child into this world. I still love ❤️ your videos, and I'm always taking notes 💯📝

I've felt this way about COMMON, other celebrity black men, and a majority of SO-CALLED WOKE SPIRITUAL BROTHAS for a while now. Was that book that encouraged her to stick it out with me I am the first white man that she ever dated when she was in her forties. We are now married and have a really nice life together. We work as a team and a partnership. I hold her up in her weaknesses and she holds me up in mine.

Caveat: Black men from Africa tend to be more focused on marrying & starting a family. There are many black (traditional African) men who would love nothing more than to marry a professional-minded black woman in the West. So I would add them to the list of men to date in addition to inter-racial dating. Thanks 🙏🏾

That would be too much like right. The agenda to propagate Self Hatred is at an all time high. The most basic principle is dating outside the race has no spiritual connection, can't relate.

Common is a sports fisherman. He said it himself; he dates strong, beautiful, accomplished, black women and puts them right back in the "sea". At this point he's like Idris. Damaged goods. And you may say, but Idris married a black woman. A much younger black woman. One that, until she RISKED HER LIFE for him, he didn't truly believe loved him. I love black men. I'm "dating" a black man. But I know he's not marrying me. I love him deeply. But I know I'm looking at another nationality ENTIRELY for my marriage. I've told him this! He gets offended. But after YEARS of being together? He hasn't proposed. And he won't. Any woman getting involved with Common has to accept GOING IN that there's an expiration date on the relationship. I have.

Interesting. Kevin samuels preaches that Black men that make more money or high earners aren't cheaters, they exercise their options. Why is this the Black man's code? How do Black men considered themselves of value when the only way they determine themselves resourceful based on external items such as women and money? It's very concerned 😟

I have a good many white men that I was with who dated me to use me because I had a job so my money could be theirs or so they thought. Many were non-committal as well. I dated some other guys of different races and more of the same thing there. I’m married now to a man who loves me. I decided to go for that not the color of the skin. I’m hoping that my marriage will stick but am not sure it will 100% because my husband is not an easy man to be married to. Marriage takes a great deal of work on both sides.

Honestly, I'd rather he be honest and up front about not wanting to get married than see him betray the trust of any woman. Not everyone wants marriage and children and that should be ok no matter what community of which you're a member. Big up to him for being a good human being and not causing harm and distress to any of the women he's dated by marrying them only to run out and cheat. I feel that's commendable in this day and age.
