My native tongue is czech, so I am sorry for any mistakes I made. Gavin Roy, a guy from Fort Collins, Colorado, is learning himself czech for about two and half years. And he pointed out one particularly interesting thing. In english ,we say "IN the world", which creates an image in my head that all the people are WITHIN the planet, like a cat in a box. In czech, we say "na světě" = (literally ON the world), which does make more sense not only for Czechs, but also for Gavin as well :-)

I'm a Pole and i started learning Czech after completing English from Polish and Polish from English course at Dulingo. I thought that Czech is close enough to Polish and I will still be practising English while learning Czech from English. So I watched some courses about Czech, and "Learn Czech with Rich" was one of them. So now I'm listening about common mistakes Czechs make in English and to be honest all of those advices can be used by Poles too. :D Great courses Rich, both Czech and English. Thank you!
