After watching, tell us your thoughts. What do you think about the idea that, "communication is the key to relationship success?"

Super interesting. My family has commented often that my wife and I don't "communicate much" and we never argue (really maybe once a year). But I think it's because we don't OVER communicate. We say what we mean, we say what we need, then we do it for ourselves and each other. I think a large part is anticipating needs if you are aware of your partner, they might not need to ask you to help get tea ready in the morning while they are feeding the dog or getting the kiddo ready for school. You already know they are busy and you just do it. Simply confirming their desires first is as much communication as is needed in many cases. "Hey babe, would you like tea this morning?"

Great example. In your case, most people would say "that's not good communication, there's no way it will work." In reality, what you described is an alignment of Core Values and a very healthy dynamic. When two people align on values, their need to communicate boils down to how much they want to communicate. In that arena, all of us have different preferences. Some people love to talk, others not so much. There's no right or wrong in that.
