Stop running up debt and watch your life become much less stressed out. Might take time ....however you won’t regret it. It’s a market economy and the bartering way of life is not sustainable. This is the 21st Century, of the Information Age. Capitalism by definition is exchange of information. You can earn it without buying it. I know that sounds weird, however it’s true. It is a mindset. Stop having your two hands work for money. Have dollars go work for you. Why get paid on Friday and go buy junk that will never earn a return. Big box shopping malls is a set up for complete financial failure for you as a consumer & a financial gain for their risk taking on a business arrangement with banks & stockholders. You are their slaves to a system you freely invite yourself socially. Group therapy at Macy’s is a very slow financial doomed realized by , for some 30. Ben Franklin stated most men die on the inside by 27yrs of age waiting to die on the outside by 65-80 so both can be buried together. Warren Buffet states if you’re not making money while you’re sleeping you will have to work until you die. You can choose to invest time into learning daily. It’s starts with a mindset and willingness to be patient, honest, transparent about who you are and not what you do. It’s who you will come to know, not the what you or they do. I haven't seen such a lier. He talks about story of Mark Twain visiting communist Russia and his talk with communist Party member. How the hell is that possible when Twain died in 1910 and Russia became communist in 1917!! Just how he talked about people sharing things don't exist for them, he's telling story of a man which didn't exist at that time. Marx also allowed for possibility of communist revolution in Russia, not only in rich countries. And for that matter such revolutions did take place in rich countries to establish socialism, for example Paris commune of 1871, Spanish revolution of 1936, May 1968 events in France, not to mention people in many Latin American countries like Chile, Uruguay( which was one of richest countries at time) had elected communists and socialists but were overthrown by United States. Not to mention socialist movement was stronger in United States itself (and is becoming stronger now, around 45% of Americans now support socialism, 70% millenials say they would vote socialist) , not to mention revolution in Germany after world War 1 and so on. Also not to mention that capitalism is still there. Till there's capitalism, there will always be possibility of such system. Not to mention all rich countries are using guidelines given in communist Manifesto under head "what will be course of communist revolution? ". Marx said communist revolution will proceed with progressive taxing, public free education , abolition of child labor, separation of church from state and so on. All of these measures are carried out by rich countries. We are already moving towards communism. Also he's misinterpreting Marx in way he looks at sentence "communism will take place at richest countries". This didn't mean for Marx that rich people will start sharing with poor, as he describes, but rather that working people will expropriate rich people (because that's what they did in overthrowing Fuedalism and even slavery). He's talking about Utopian socialists, who said that rich people will surrender their companies to workers. Marx didn't agree with them "Also Marx doesn't know about human beings". That's extraordinary.ironically He can now relate human nature with political system because of Marx. Study of social relations and human beings is called as " Sociology ". And Marx was one of *founders* of this school of thought. U hear that? Forget about he not knowing human nature, he spent part of his life just to analyse this question. And with anthropological research done by others, here's what he found. People were communists before agriculture! Yes u hear that, sadguru? People were communists, it was called as " Primitive communism ". Any sane and sober psychologist know that human nature is NOT fixed. There's greedy gene in humans, so there's altruistic gene. Some studies have found that altruism and sharing is hardwired in humans. That's why u strangely feel happy when u help someone, when in fact u have lost something to other people. I'm sure everyone here has experienced that feeling. So as Peter Kropotkin put it "looking at capitalism and saying human nature is greedy is like looking at miners and saying it's human nature to cough"

Communism means a classless, stateless and currency-less society. It is a form of socialism. Socialism implies resources should be distributed equally vs capitalism wherein resources are in the hands of the few. This idea that the poor want to steal from the rich is ridiculous. The rich loot the poor, have been doing so historically. During colonial times the British and other Europeans looted our countries and left us shattered. The rich today do not pay their taxes and constantly use their power to undermine public infrastructure. When we say rich, we are not talking about some random middle class person with a car. We are talking about the millionaires and the billionaires, hoarding their wealth and power and saying they are entitled to it. Meanwhile we have starving poor, farmers who are committing suicide, hundreds of homeless sheltering in front of houses of worship and refugees with no place to call home. How hard can they work to improve their lives? How much personal responsibility can they apply? The 1% controls about 50% of the wealth. Leaving the 99% of the population with the rest of the 50%. What can us working class people do? How many of you lost family members because of unaffordable healthcare? How many of us gave up our dreams as education was too expensive? How many got addicted to alcohol and other vices because life was too miserable? No capitalism is not ethical, it exploits the workers, the poor, and the middle class so that the rich can have their luxuries. The rich are not smarter or harder working, your mother works harder than any of the billionaires. Why is she not compensated? We are being exploited brothers and sisters. Do not fall for the lies of the rich and powerful. Wake up. It matters not what economic theory you prefer. It does not change that our system is broken and we must fix it.

Can someone define capitalism socialism and communism
@valcodeengineers50426 жыл бұрын
Dear Vikram Mahey! I am extremely happy to learn that you seek to know the definitions of Capitalism, Socialism and Communism. Please wait for sometime, I endeavor to offer you the scientific definitions . You may refer to my replies posted to Mr Vishal just above your post only. There you may get some idea. Now,I will give you some introduction to the definitions . (1) The Authentic Capitalism came in to existence after the Industrial revolution took place. It commenced seriously after Nineteenth Century. When various Inventions and Innovations came into existence( Bright example Respected Mr. Thomas Alva Edition) . Some Entrepreneurs ( like Henry Ford)put these inventons into practice and commercially intensified along with evolving technology. Thus the standard of living of the Human race started rising. This is the Capitalism. (2) Then Some formally learned Individuals who were educated but did not have aptitude talent and burning desire to become prosperous but they were interested in the well being of Society, promoted Democracy and became elected rulers , leaders like Abraham Lincoln. and Unfortunately Those leaders and Educated Class who were not CAPABLE & DESIROUS of being reach, formed the Government and evolved the Constitutions and evolved Taxation policies. Now they had had to get revenue and they started taxing Industrialists as others had no capacity to earn enough taxable income. So these Elected Rulers propounded that to help poor, in name of public welfare and social justice they started taxing heavily , for that they had to restrict, control and violet the RIGHT TO PROPERTY of Industrialists. .... NOW THE SOCIALISM came into existence. (3) Now Some Leaders & Intellectuals were not satisfied with taxing and controlling Industrialists so with BRUT FORCE AND VIOLENCE THEY TOOK COMPLETE CONTROL ON THE ECONOMY..... NOW THE COMMUNISM came into existence. COMMUNISM existed in the country like USSR (Russia ), China. But since in Communism there is no incentive for work NO COMMUNIST COUNTRY ON EARTH PROSPERED and Russia and other small countries renounced communism and China has relaxed Communism and adopted lenient market approach. So, Through Capitalism countries like US, JAPAN and other European countries prospered, through Socialism countries like India is struggling. And Communism is the system of mass slavery. I will be glad to volunteer further information in future. Regards Jay Hind. Humbly yours, Arun Jani.

Really? This gentleman Jaggi Vasudev, alias Sadguru simply parrots what Gandhiji once said about communism, generally, to mean 'Communism is good. If people accept it voluntarily it is welcome. But if it is imposed, Gandhiji will be the first man to oppose it'. The second idea of allowing the capitalists to make huge profits and taxing them to share the residual wealth among the poor is a crude version of the Trickle Down theory of economics. Any body who has a cursory knowledge of commodity, value, surplus value, dead labour and living labour - at least a superficial reading of 'The Capital' by Karl Marx would pity the colossal ignorance and stupidity of this gentleman.

Ankit Rao ; Consider this ..... “"Laissez Faire" is French for "leave alone" which means that the government leaves the people alone regarding all economic activities. It is the separation of economy and state. There are two ways that a government typically is tempted to interfere with the economy. The first is through the initiation of force, and the second is through socialized industries. Neither of these activities are aligned with the proper role of government, and are both unacceptable. "Laissez Faire Capitalism" is actually redundant, due to the nature of Capitalism. Therefore, simply "Capitalism" is sufficient to get the point across although historically it has been misrepresented as compatible with government economic interference.” ...............My experience observes entrepreneurs do best in an atmosphere of reserved Capitalism for those who have a venture or enterprise and take all this risk to succeed or fail. Responsibility rest on the entrepreneur and positive vision plan of action without government interference. In the United States of America the constitution clearly states “We The People” not we the 3 branches of government. Government is to slave for its people not the other way around. “We The People” are to be treated like Kings, Queens, Prince, Princesses who are “In God We Trust.” “Land of The Free.” The People take personal accountability deciding if one is to be poor, rich or indifferent. Not “we the government.” Government is to follow the people’s wishes. Period that’s it. “Wealth” is having control of time & money, forwarding personal resources earned to support whomever they please. The saying a quitter never succeeds comes to mind. These are the most phenomenal times to be alive to share knowledge. Words create everything not what one thinks. Replace thoughts with words, not by thoughts. Be Well, in these unstable uncertain times. ....Kinda done with this KZbin post. It’s pretty much clearly described by Sadhguru spelling it out. There is no press on me. I’m just a global citizen striving, winning in a state of mind. The next months in 2020 get after it. #grit

"Greed is good" "Sharing" is better. India one should know about capitalism. You have had a very difficult history with capitalism and English people. Capitalism is good Communism is good The requirement for both of these is that one does not sell his soul. If humanity persists, everything is OK For a communism as described by Karl Marx and Friderich Engels, a very important prerequisite must be felt. The people are provided for and don't have to work to feed themselves. In other words "rich" These people would work voluntarily out of boredom, but not anything. Something special that gives them fun. By creating certain things, life is enriched and one feels felt. Capitalism is good but not in its current form. To explain this better, let's take a look at nature. A forest is an ecosystem in which planets and animals live in equilibrium. That means everything that lives in this ecosystem shares with others that everyone can live well. Our capitalism is not like that. On the contrary, it is based on individualism. The 2-3 percent of the population hoards all the money, the others have to work very hard for it, and many can only survive and not live discreetly. And money is like water. It always has to run in circles if that is not the case, then capitalism breaks off. Because capitalism is based on consumption. Consumption is interrupted and the cycle can not have been longer close, the collapse begins
Oh I get it! This is a joke. And here I was going to write this long thing correcting him.

Really?

I have heard many of your speeches on so many subjects and issues Sadguruji. This is one speech of yours which I differ from you. So let rich people take up communism and make this a better world who is stopping them from doing it. Karl Marx has not stopped them. Communism is neither poor people's nor rich people's property it is a dream for the man kind. Poor take it up because they cannot afford even education in this money mongering world. Let the richest aristocrats, beurocrats, politicians take it up. Put more teachers, provide good infrastructure for govt schools. Provide jobs to unemployed worthy of their ability and qualifications. Let all the governments do at least this instead of judging the youth as incapable of doing anything, unemployable, etc. Good facilities for all the governments enterprise, establishments and hospitals. Let at least governments hold or stop the richest in knowledge from going to abroad for better opportunities. What is the liability and responsibility of a governing body towards society (people whether rich or poor) if it only focused on tax collection, fine collection, profit making (revenue) and do only little for its people as service.

Wow. Sadhguru doesn't know about anything and is wrong about everything. Well, what do you expect from someone who thinks that if boy-girl twins are born than left and right side of the mother's breast will have different types of milk. You can't tax the rich if the rich can corrupt the government with their money. He also doesn't know what capital is. Capital is means of production not money. If someone owns capital in a country, then that's not communism or socialism. It's capitalist country. Don't call it socialist or communist. The thing about greed is that our capitalist system rewards greed. Humans are not naturally greedy. They do greedy shit to survive and or get money and power. Humans are naturally cooperative beings. We are not even talking about climate change. Capitalism caused it and capitalism has no way out of it. Let's just die by producing profits for someone else who is making the world you live in worse. Do you think they will share when there is nothing to share. They will let us all die outside their high walls of safety or keep us as slaves to do thier bidding. Global warming and climate change can only be stopped by communism and we don't even have 15 years to stop it.

@oxenMenace3 жыл бұрын
Im going to be frank with this, I really respect Sadhguru; however this just doesn't sit well with me. It's clear that he didnt study marx extensively, because I would say that on a secular and sociological level Marx understood people better than anyone. None of what Sadhguru says about Marx is true either. Marx didnt argue for people to give away personal property, and he distinguished private and personal property quite clearly. I highly recommend actually reading Karl Marx. In some areas of life, a Yogi will not always have an answer. Or at least, not a correct one

Yea but he also said that the worker was entitled to the owners goods when they incur 0 risk in the transaction. Marx wanted to create an oppressed class of entrepreneurs who started a business then everything he worked on was seized and redistributed by the state.
