11 years back when I watched this video, I was one among few who were praising Javed saheb for his Rationality in the comment section, and everybody else was just abusing him...But now this comment section is filled with all praises and rational thoughts about Javed Saheb...India has grown so much in these 11 years...🔥

Absolutely, I agree. Revisiting it today, Javed makes a lot of sense. Life experiences really shape our perspective. Yet, there are still people who admire Sadguru's teachings with that distinctive background music . He's their world, just as he was mine once 😂

@@Sameer-wy7cyIndia is special because we follow a constitution, unlike the Islamic world, which often bases laws on the Quran. The West decided to keep religion and law separate, seeing potential issues. Imagine if our life if main rules were from a religious book. Sometimes, I hear stories about how people were treated before we got independence, and how there was slavery and violence in the name of religion. We're fortunate to have a constitution now, and we should be thankful for what we have done. We should aim to make people happier, improve our lives, and reduce inequality in society 🙂

Javed Akhtar is thinking like the way I was thinking in my teen. Sadguru talks about methods and longevity. Javed vs Sadhguru = common sense vs Spirituality.. Let me give an example for it. If you ask Mike Tyson about boxing he will tell you some methods to win but can’t convince a lay man who uses common sense to ignore what Mike Tyson said. I request everyone to watch this video in following manner: *No Athlete becomes successful until he uses some method to accumulate qualities to win. * Athlete boost his qualities over practice. *Spirituality is a process of methods and practices. It has to be done then discuss. *If it is discussed without doing it.. Javed speech seems right. So If I watch this whole video considering Sadhguru as some Athlete and Javed as someone who is using common sense. Athlete knows what he is talking! But can’t convince others.

It’s not an idea which can’t be tested alike the claims made by Sadhguru. He has never been able to prove anything. Athletes knowing that “METHODS” will get them somewhere is the use of common sense. I dont like sadhguru much, but try to lookout so called greatest philosophies which is vedantas, based on faith in god. Read tagore, vivekanand philosp"s . Javed akhtar is legend, but many philosophers went beyond, and give ideas of faith for human welfare and peace of mind.

I don't read tagore .. but i have read and have though about vivekanand ideology as a philosophical way ..but still the faith in god not the primary support any rational leader would stuck upto vivekanand has denied hundreds of arguments and ideas about hinduism mainly because he was a hindu soo .. i can't really say that he is rational at every point so i prefer more clear leaders or philosopher .. may be i lack knowledge somewhat. But few things i am clear about is god and its ideology .. i follow bhagat singh as clear perspective from indian leaders ..

But this shows that those are not 'religious texts' those texts are the thoughts and realizations about life, nature and our surroundings as understood by the scholars at that time. And so 'today youth finds science more logical than religious texts' doesn't exactly make that much sense in my opinion.!

@@shwetachaudhari1894 Religion texts are always not about the god or rituals, you said " those are not religious texts ", and if you get to know the cosmology and astronomy mentioned in Hindu scriptures, it opens a new dimension in your brain, "dimension" refers to to a new thought process, you will automatically question the modern science, I don't know whether that science is wrong or right, but they give a new approach to our brains, many foreign scientists themselves said it, so without knowing the scientific theories in the Vedas, and without knowing the truth how can we declare that the Hindu religious "science " is a pseudo-science, so many of youth declare them as mythology and call it as illogical, how can we declare? Damn they wrote Vedas and Upanishads for some thousands of years, many of those got demolished by invaders, just imagine how much science was there in those scriptures, " today's youth find modern science logical and Vedic science illogical, without reading the Vedic cosmology " I hope now it made sense

About the death penalty in Islam for being atheist that's what Javed is saying that faith if exercised in wrong way can legitimise worst of actions done by a human being,he also gave an example of suicide bomber and think he was referring about Islam and it's wrong interpretation.There are many controversial things and they are present in every religion,same goes for hindu religion too as for Islam and Christianity and others.

But as time went, lot of rules and claims made by this book of faith, felt out of place and outdated. Of these lot, Islam seems to be the most outdated one and I agree with it. Having said that, other religion such as Hindu Christianity Buddhist etc are not free from outlandish claims and suggestions as well. Common sense should be ruled supreme to all these…

Javed said Ramanujan was a human being he cannot be right all the time. This was in reference to the comment from the anchor that Ramanujan claimed that all he knew was from a Goddess. So javed basically denied that. But ....Same things apply for Muhammad. He claims that he has got instructions from Allah. Now Muhammad was also a Human being and he cannot be right. So basically a religion was found out of nowhere.

This is the beauty of Hinduism. You can question anything, even the existence of God like Brahma, Vishnu or Mahesh can be questioned. You have the full liberty to pray anyone. Even if you do not pray, that is also okay. It is not like Islam where your head will be removed from your torso if it offends the feelings of Muslims even if done indeliberately. Deen main aqal ka dakhal nahin. As far as yogic techniques are concerned, it can not be explained to anyone till the time you do it and realises the loads of energy in these mudras. All these mudras can make you feel and see even those things which you cannot see or feel from your five senses. It opens those portions of your brain which are never explored even till your death. Once you do it properly for a finite period of time, you will not be against Sadhguru. Shambhavi Mudra can make you feel in a different zone. Lord Shiva does it.

Spiritual gurus over engineer human lives and Sadhguru is a master of it. Playing with words and evading key questions is his style. I was his follower too many years back and then rationale prevailed. And Javed Saab, you blew my mind. I have always believed there isn't any difference between our lives and that of a mosquito. Sadhguru is a yogi, a wise person. He knows what to speak at what time. Am not saying that all he says is right but he speaks sensibly, calmly like a saint while Javed is raging like a mad bull

This debate is definitely between two persons of two distinct levels. U cannot blame Mr.Javed. He is yet to reach d level to debate with people like Satguru. V half educated people r all like that, and that's y v all clap when Javed talks. But the ultimate soothing and calming effect comes when Satguru speaks. V get d real answers from him. To her credit the anchor was quite calm though U cannot expect every one 2 b as learned and as spiritual as Jaggiji. She tried to maintain a balance between d two persons. Surprisingly JA seemed 2 b agitated all through out while as Sadguru was calm. Is it becoz JA's heart was agreeing 2 what Satguru was telling but his mind and inner ego was not permitting him to do d same. That's Y he seems to b angry with himself which showed on his face which is not d case aid him .
