New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 76
Communists have to get inside institutions to subvert and transform them. Getting into them requires tactics. The name for these tactics is entryism, or sometimes just entrism, and it describes how a hostile ideological force goes about getting inside an institution that wouldn't normally accept it. It's a key concept for stopping Woke Marxism, so in this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay breaks it down. Join him and understand this important Woke tactic.

I've been saying this about the defund the police movement since it's inception. Defund the police to push out the old guard, refund to bring in the new. People have to stop thinking what they are doing is incompetence and start recognizing its strategic. At some point there are just too many coincidences that redound to their benefit

I have a feeling that being able to do the forensics in various instances in which entryism has occurred is going to be a hinge point in getting people who are "on the fence" or not particularly aware of what's going on to understand why they should care and work with those interested in getting infective ideologies out of the infected institutions.

I have quite a few women in my family (no surprise there🙄) who work in professions where they espouse the DEI virus all day. So what I don’t understand is why the people working in these woke establishments, don’t separate work from real life? Because it’s clearly taking a toll on them emotionally and shaping their worldview. These people are completely incapable of having conversations without injecting some indoctrinated woke talking points and they have zero mental or emotional stability. But for me, at work, I pretend to be all in on the mumbo jumbo stuff, whatever it may be, but then I turn it off when I leave. I listen to programs like this to keep me grounded. But these women, my family members sadly, are truly letting this stuff soak into their soul, program their brains, and alter their life outlook. I had hope the woke mind virus wouldn’t catch on in the real world, but the Holiday has proven, it’s closer home than I thought! I’m the one that’s been in the bubble!😳

It is more difficult for a new ideology to take root, when a person already has a belief system in place. Most people are relatively shallow in their beliefs and so it is easy for someone to come along and say, "hey you! None of the stuff you thought was important was really all that important. I will tell you what is important." If you already have strong opinions about what you believe, then it is much harder for them to convince you to change your mind.

I once went to an 'indigenous reconciliation event' at a church. We did a 'blanket exercise' which told a very one sided story of state oppression of indigenous people. Everything was true, but lots of context was lacking. And it was designed to show one side as good and the other as evil. We then sat in a circle after and i could see it destroyed a very compassionate young woman who was weeping. There also were indigenous people who suffered in and survived residential school system abuses. We passed a feather around and each got to speak. Most said variations of "I wasn't taught this in school, and very sorry about it and hope to keep learning how I can help" fair enough. When it got to me I was able to convey more context from the history of indigenous people. A key point being that these are powerful and resilient survivors before anyone came who had a rich culture which can be overlooked when we only focus on victimhood. As well as various other points. Said with respect and intending to heal some of the damage I could see some had experienced. After, the woman who ran the even talked with me, I thought she'd be mad but she was actually grateful. Turns out she came from the same town as my mom who has indigenous roots. She even looked and talked like her. So I was glad to be there. It was interesting to observe. Those who were not literate on the topic and had high compassion were at risk of being emotionally destroyed / demoralized by it. What many miss too is that compassion may have created the residential school system, as many kids were left unsupervised by parents hunting far from home. In that time many died of accidents. So compassion lead people to believe they'd be safer in government care. This turned out to be horribly wrong. What was denied was freedom of speech, assembly, religion, and duty of care was misused. So there is a case, but to inject totalitarian coup to resolve this obviously makes something bad worse.

Directors and officers are largely farmed out of the big club. If not nepotism, then they find loyal people through rigorous foundation run university "fellowship" programs and stuff like that. DNC front NGOs are at the heart of the whole system, which in turn are managed by corporate executives. Some are purely self serving and some are true believers, but big business has to work with the "progressive" spin on everything because the DNC is exceedingly becoming the only route to favorable regulatory capture and their average woke voters have to be baited in to being told by government what kind of oven to buy somehow.

1st of all, typical Madison, no wonder the city is so liberal and democrat... jeez... 2nd of all, gamergate was my red pill moment, the accusations thrown at the time were so absurd and outlandish that immediately I knew something was wrong, it was a great betrayal, I was still Democrat myself at the time, a normie, that party showed tolerance to the video game industry where Republicans kept accusing it of causing violence. How quickly it infected the Democrat party and everyone was FRIGHTENING! I knew it was a cult from the moment it began, how people quickly came to the defense of Zoe Quinn and Sarkesian, how quickly people bent the knee to DEI among other bullshit. I could smell a rat from a mile away. Here I am 10 years later, conservative republican, 110% pro free speech and 2nd amendment, the moment I started listening and understanding the right, my hatred for not only the woke cult grew, but my hatred for communism grew too. Both cults (one and the same imo) are pure evil and need to be stopped, but their messaging and entryism as so perfectly explained in this video has infected billions, and many of them refuse to listen to reason.

You’re lucky. My red pill moment took a lot longer. My first encounter with woke activism was this new form of politicized credentialism from the warped minds of prejudiced angry social scientist types.. People like Ibram X Kendi, Robyn DeAngelo, Tim Wise and Peggy McIntosh… Those are the names of some of the people who brought it into the mainstream. They used the ideologies of Marx, Marcuse, Alinsky and others. Antiracism and CRT are rooted in neo marxist and postmodernist ideology. This is why have seen an increase in prejudiced, entitled, ignorant, antagonistic, collectivist behavior masquerading as activism. Parents need to understand what they are up against. When you confront this nonsense the first thing that will be done by the people who use these tactics is to deny any of it exists. Anyone with a Facebook, Twitter or Reddit account who posted comments on news or politics after the year 2010, probably has some suspicion that this was a coordinated and advanced form of psychological warfare by hostile forces at home and abroad. It runs deep. It is deeply understood by strategists in both the Democrat and Republican establishment as well as the anti-establishment, media, corporations and financial institutions. Along with the many, many, useful idiots. It’s staggering how many people fell for it, and how much effort has been put into silencing those who didn’t. Their method is to smear or mischaracterize dissenting points of view. This is inherent in their ideology, as neomarxism is partially built upon scapegoating, stereotyping, mischaracterizing, slandering and defaming individuals justified by incomplete and frivolous accusations of group privilege. Oddly but perhaps not surprisingly they have mostly abandoned the class struggle with an all out elitist assault on Liberalism at it’s center right foundation, (rights/freedoms of the individual) this is why so many Democrats have flocked to the populist right. They didn’t all want to be associated with the excesses associated with woke progressive activism. In fact, many of these former Democrats opposed it, until they realized how futile it is to fight against the deep tentacles of a political establishment that colludes with mass media so effectively they can silo their base from the comfort of their reclining chairs. The smears of “conspiracy theorist” “sexist” “racist” and most concerningly, “Anti-semite” ensure their platforms will never allow the editorials of true journalists who speak the truths they’d rather bury. Oh and by the way a lot of the dissemination of this so called activism was funded by Open Society lead by none other than our old pal George Soros. Be careful, saying his name is like Beetlejuice, if you say it too many times you’ll be accused of being an anti-semite. As if we’re stupid enough to believe being Jewish is all it takes to be a shadowy control freak.

In psychology there’s a concept called script, transference and counter transference. An event will happen which is too much to incorporate properly (a little bit like trauma) and that person will generate a narrative a little bit like a broken record where the story keeps replaying but never reaches a conclusion. Another person will come across this and consciously or not they will play into the “script” and effectively reify the story. This playing into the script is called counter transference where people bring their own experiences in to respond to the script. If theoretically you were to deliberately traumatise someone through... idk, struggle sessions while at the same time giving them the script then they’d go out into the world and people would react with counter transference which reify’s the story. I’m still studying in this domain but it’s just an idea which popped into my head. It could be possible to weaponise the psychological phenomenon of transference and counter transference if you gave the trauma and the script knowingly.

McGill university is wholly captured at every institutional level. It feels like I am surrounded by insane people. The things that come out of the mouths of academics would be hilarious if they were not shaping the structure of the university. For example: equity hiring. We use baskets. We cannot rank potential new hires. We can place people into the outstanding basket. One person in the basket must be of an equity class (ie, poor oppressed person with a PhD from Harvard or Stanford)…then hiring committee MUST hire the equity person. If you are a white guy who doesn’t like buttholes….you have no chance…even if you are the best candidate, you cannot be ranked best. The hiring committee simply submits the individuals in the outstanding basket and the equity committee chooses the new hire (ie…poor oppressed person with a PhD from some elite school).

Gaming is an interesting fly in the ointment for the left in general. If the medium is the message, the sudden appearance of a medium which is practically made for tales of achieving individual excellence through hard work and the bearing of arms is the most inconvenient thing that could possibly happen to the left's attempt to control the media. And, to make matters worse for them, Japan has an oversized pull in gaming, and the Japanese have little appetite for leftism and are massively allergic to totalizing institutions given their history. In that light, it shouldn't be surprising at all that gaming is one of the places where the culture war was fought back against the hardest.

I don’t know. But why does it increasingly seem like pretty much every aspect of language and our very method of communication is so easy for them to exploit, even to the point where it appears to practically bend to their will, in order to serve their interests? Is it something imbedded in our language since the beginning? Dare I speculate that reality itself may even be in on it with them? Because it certainly only makes sense to me if one of those propositions is true. For all intents and purposes, they’re like Agents from the Matrix, able to seamlessly slip throughout its programming (our social institutions), always to their own full advantage. With that then, how could anyone NOT conclude that some very powerful force above us all is freely enabling their every action?🤷🏻

His quote while addressing the Irish Dáil (our parliament) was, "This room is too pale, too stale, and too male". An openly sexist and racist comment in any other context but not when you're a regressive Leftist politician. His nickname is "Leo the Leak" btw because he got caught handing over to a friend what were effectively insider details for a government contract.

Stalin's USSR also used mass migration by moving large numbers of Russians into Soviet member states making Russians a large minority or the majority thus turning the balance of power & influence in said member states forever. The topic of Entryism is of high importance and should be talked more publicly so that citizens are more aware.

The other day a normal person told me they just learned about socialism and that it "seemed like a good thing" (because the "informative" sources on it say so). I'm from brazil where paulo freire is revered in academia as a "great pedagogue" - he is not that - and where the communist party has ruled for decades since the military dictatorship of the 60s, so this doesn't shock me.

Let me just jump in on the subject of "defunding the police". First, nobody in their right mind wants to get rid of the police. Those who live in communities where police bias and mistreatment is common may have that wish, but l doubt that more than a handful of them seriously believe in it. "Defunding the police" was a poorly chosen political slogan. What's really needed is better trained, more accountable police. Second, the true goal of any free society should be law enforcement that keeps order without trampling on individual rights. In theory, America has such a system. In practice, there are 3 tiers of justice; one for the rich, one for the middle class, and one for the poor. I worked in the legal business for 20 years. One of the most disturbing things l learned was that most of our judicial due process - the rules of procedure, rules of evidence, time limits for each step to take place - was written not by legislators, but by bar associations. The legislators just rubber stamp it ( they're mostly lawyers themselves). The end result of this is a drawn-out, expensive legal system that greatly benefits the lawyers. The bar associations also function like a closed union shop. Mind you, this predates the ascension of unions in most other trades. You cannot practice law in any state without a bar membership. They issue the licenses, and guess who sets the billing rates? This system obviously gives the rich a tremendous advantage in dealing with the law; and puts most of the rest of us at a disadvantage, especially the poor. So the BLM is angry because they correctly percieve that the legal system is stacked against them. I have no doubt that I'll get responses accusing me of Marxism. But I'm no communist. Why would l want the government to own everything? Every country that's tried it has descended into dictatorship and stagnation. Again, the goal of every free society should be fair and impartial enforcement of the laws, without regard to anyone's bank account or lack thereof. The indigent shouldn't have to settle for a green, overworked public defender who plea-bargains them out just to get cases off his desk. The law is a quintessential public service. Its practitioners have turned it into an $800 per hour racket. That's why people take to the streets. They're getting screwed and they know it.
