This seems like such a shocking waste of money. A family who owned a property that went on fire in *living memory* demolished their own house. Why the HELL are we "excavating" it like its some sort of "Historic Treasure"? Let's just ignore the dying fields of the Battle of Clontarf 🤷♀️ and mow down **indigenous** built heritage like the Brian Boru pub, and supplant the potential Clontarf Battlegrounds with a Metroline with *zero* consideration for careful excavation of every inch of Clontarf as each square meter or mile of derelict property or abandoned land becomes available for excavation, and establishing a *historic & tourist site for re-enactment* 🤷♀️ Seriously. We should be getting this done BEFORE *Colm Meaney* kicks the bucket. Because what better (Int'l Tourism?/perpetual Nat'l) reference than the Miles O'Brien actor *actually* commemorating the real Battle of Clontarf *in the real Clontarf* 🤷♀️ It would be fekin' epic lads!
