Congrats dude glad you’re growing. while I appreciate the long video formats and narration I would love to see some b roll of gameplay, models or paintings related to the topic with a voice over. Nothing against your mug it’s just there are so many dry dialog driven infinity / tabletop channels adding some b roll of things you’re talking about doing or painting would be great more often. Otherwise this feels like a vlog sometimes or a podcast cause I get the same value just listening.

I get what you're saying and, yes, it does make for a better video experience. But, here's the issue. Shooting B-roll adds time to any video, not just in the shoot, but the edit. It's something I used to do before I moved to the talking head style, but then one video a week was a challenge. It's about finding the time to make that happen. Hopefully, as the channel grows, I can put more time into it and so get more exciting visuals. For now, I can either keep up the rate of videos OR add in the extras, and I have to choose the rate or I am going to drown in the backlog! :D Thanks for watching and for the input, appreciate it and always open to feedbacj.

I really enjoyed hearing the story of how you got into wargaming and went in and out with it over the years. It's very similar to my own journey, as someone in my late '40s who seems to be around your generation. Love the channel, keep up the good work.

The main thing that everyone can contribute to growing a game community is that when someone else organises something then you make sure you are one of the people who turns up.

Cheers for this, you got the name correct I've never played Infinity before so will be learning through the Essentials Having said that I have, Sandtrap,, Wildfire and beyond, Crimson Stone and Beyond and a few JSA boxes in my pile of shame. So far only built and painted the 2 minis from the Graphic Novels.

Wow, that is quite a collection! We need to make sure you get those on the table and rolling dice soon.

The sheer rawness of 40k Vs the actual tactics and sense of infinity forces would be interesting alright 😂😂

True, true. I'd be up for it!

Oh man, I hear you on limiting the gaming systems that you devote time to. Full time job, kids, deteriorating eyesight, blah blah blah, I decided that I really needed to limit my focus to the games and/or minis that I really like and get joy from. My choices: Blood Bowl (my favorite game and requires minimal hobby time if needs be), Infinity, and Adeptus Titanicus / Legions Imperialis (since there is model overlap). I'll probably still play Warcry with my son, but I don't see myself devoting more hobby time to it. Sadly, I've decided that, as much as I like the game and the models, I don't have time for Necromunda, and I suspect that Infinity (sci fi skirmish) + Blood Bowl (league/campaign progression) will scratch the same itches.

Haha, the struggle is real, right? I've never played Necromunda, but heard that Infinity is similar but with more depth to sink your teeth into. I've seen many switch from Necromunda to Infinity based on that, so, I think you're right, it should see you right.
