Usually people who only need to go into the office a few times a week, like maybe working remote most of the time and/or regional offices that they work between both. Not very common, but if its gonna be anywhere, the NEC would be the place to find it

I do frequently to see family. Moved up from quiet car to first class. Free food including meals , quiet, clean and exceptional service. Waiting Amtrak area at union station is awesome also. Love Amtrak esp those less than 4 hour rides
