@@Da_ComputerMonster Yeah that was something I was somewhat diasppointed about the whole end of IDW, they seemed determined to erase any and all mysticism from the story; yeah, I know the G1 Cartoon had Unicron be built by an inventor, and made the transformers the creations of the Quintessons, but the other origins, with Prmus and Unicron as Physcal Gods, to me that's just so much better. The design however, that was epic.

What I like about prime is that the way his forms are depicted from the rock as well as how his energy form "corrupts" megatron with a "rustier" form gives off the feel of "ancient primordial evil being", which at the end of the day is what Unicron is. People shit on the brown color scheme but it makes him feel like an ancient machine god.

When Prime dd it Unicron being Earth was an interesting concept, that they did quite well with, but even then I was disappointed that it cost us a proper Unicron. When Last Knight did it it was just a cop out to excuse them from having to try, and really? Unicron's too big to do? They actively use a massive approaching planet in this film with Cybertron. It's clear that Transformers the Movie took inspiration from Star Wars, and Unicron's clearly based on the Death Star, if Lucasfilm could pull it off in 1977, Paramount could've done it 40 years later, they didn't want to, that's the truth. Plus after revealing that Earth is literally cyber satan on top of all the s**t that humanity put the Transformers through in the bayverse, particularly after everything the Autobots sacrificed to protect them... yeah Bayverse Earth probably should just die.

I like the Prime version of Unicron, the "rock". If anything his forms being made of rock makes him seem like an ancient, primordial being, which at the end of the day that's what he really is. You could just tell with one look that he is a primordial chaos being that has indeed aged many eons. Personally my favorite Unicron.

It all implies Hell is an infinite dimension of its own, and their numbers endless. To rule over such a place…that’s just the kind of power Unicron is never depicted with. He’s becoming less and less of a god in each new version and more like an ancient being that newer creatures perceive as a god.

The worst part about the Bay movies is not the excessive explosions, not the G1-inaccurate designs, not the oversexualization of women (actually that’s pretty bad too), but the fact that they teased Unicron and the Bayverse got cancelled right after. Now we’ll have to wait until this franchise is at a point where it can use Unicron again, and god knows how many years that’s gonna take.

My Armada's Unicron's chest cannon broke back in 2007-08. It won't stay retracted. Since it's the part that's most likely to break, I guess I should be grateful it lasted 4-5 years. Was a fantastic toy nonetheless.
