I mentioned this on one of your tweets last week, but Sophie Thatcher really is the 'Scream Queen' of her generation. Such a talented actress. Her look, her voice, her poise, all made for the TV and film. She's captivating and has a uniqueness to her amongst an ocean of homogeneity. Definitely seeing this film. Got a lot of time for Jack Quaid too. He may be yet another "Nepo Baby", but I'll always root for our Hughie.

I think I saw both versions, but I forget why Matthew Broderick chose to get rid of his wife, Nicole Kidman, in favor of a robot. (I almost typed "Tom Cruise" instead of Matthew). Oops, I guess it was a reversal, and that a woman was running the show and putting microchips in people's brains, so she didn't get killed in the 2004 version.

Its funny.. once 'Yellowjackets' rolled around, Purnell and Thatcher immediately struck me as the ones whose careers would take off.. and here we are. Nelisse is incredible as well, but the breakthrough hasnt happened yet, unfortunately.

I wish they hadn’t spoiled the fact that she’s a robot in later trailers. The initial teasers were so interesting because it made you wonder why she was burning her hand. Now the mystery is gone.

She showed the producer had done _How to Train Your Dragon._ I walked past a poster of the latest movie coming out, and I mistakenly read it as "How NOT to Train Your Dragon." Last February I saw an Indian movie: _Teri Baton Mein Aisa Ulijha Jiya._ The trailer was hilarious about a guy who brings his Indian robot girlfriend back to India to meet his family. When one asks why she's cooking with both hands, he says, "She's American." Sadly, all the laughs were in the trailer, so skip the trailer if you choose to see it.

S2 of Yellowjackets was not on the same level as the first one but I blame the writers moreso because they gave the adults nothing to do. S2 in the past was still compelling but anytime they went back to them as adults, nothing was really happening. Excited to see this though!

Hi, Grace. I just wanted to tha k you for referencing The Girlfriend Experience. I already wanted to watch Companion but now more so. It git bad press due to its casting but it was solid and the series developed from it always had something interesting to say and study about such scenarios in each season. Honestly I'm not really that excited for the movie. But I'll still watch it. Cause in the trailer Jack Quaid's character uses a wine bottle opener that I really want. So hopefully they haven't cut that scene out so I can get a better look at which one exactly it is. 🤞😅🤞
