In the beta there was a bug where the engine sound triggers the company monster when you pass by the register, making the tentacles constantly come out.

I don't think that would count as a bug. The bell that you ring is just a sound trigger in order to attract the Company Monster but it's actually attracted by ANY sound. Voice chat, noisy toys in your inventory, etc. are all capable of attracting the Company Monster in order to sell your scrap (and anger it if noise persists after the door opens) The engine emits a constant sound, therefore, it keeps angering the creature. Completely intended behavior.

@@marcosperezomg That is true, and I did not sufficiently explain the cause. I called it a bug because my stupid brain went "intended game mechanic not used as intended is exploit, but exploit good for player, so call bad thing bug"
