I have both cars - buying a GTB - LOVED this clip - learned a LO. Can you PLEASE do one comparing the GTB & VT? does the GTB have the same rear shocks? is it track focused ? I drag race at 300Ft with these cars - striating 10 seconds of insanity - great fun.

How is the Caster angle on the VTE? I have the GTLE and 22% Caster is way too much for the car to turn properly for on road racing. I'm hoping the VTE has less aggressive caster. Thank You

hello yeah this is the major point they changer on vt its tipical onroad caster chassi flat in front and other top brace :)

I want to get a VT, but the roads around here are not the best to run such a low RC. When you said you can raise the VT ride height for running on bad surfaces. Are you just adjusting the shock collars, or does anything else have to be done to gain ride height on the VT? Cheers

hello no fear you can rise the vt easy 4 to 5 cm from ground , but if you wana go more rally stil you can take a vs2 and a reinforced rally body who's higher in the back like lancia delta peuggeot 205 t16 and some other stuff from elsass body rc , probody also do a 325mm rally body , or you can take an sc8 hobao and put a subaru impreza reinforced body on top :)

with same seteup its the same :) i used a buggy(vs) set it up like gt and make them hell on the track vs mgt7 , hb817gt , xray gt etc (they hate me that day hahaha 500e against 1200euro cars héhé)

VTE chassis is really flat or in the front axle has some angle ?? All 1/8 gt cars has a bit.

hi i just put the shocks more straight , put the arms set scrws away and in the back use the upper hole in the hubs , and iff you need put longer shock rodends

The VT will probably have a lower Centro di Gravità aswell...

yeah a slitly bit with the over front hubs but the rear from the ss have the same 2 hole for lowers , and the shorter shock and tower from the vt will also help , in fact i have tested every brushless gt and with the same setup they all drive same what i like bye hobao is the price and they make torsem diff :) so the car with front and center torsem is still cheaper as all other and also fast on track :)

I've got the vte mate trying to get a carbon GT chassis for it can find them for gtb and sste but not vte is there many differences between the 2 or same car different body pretty much

hello Jordan so die gtb chassis cannot be use because off the kickup , we have here in France CARBON BY J , he make us what ever we want on carbon chassis , so vt-e and also vt-e extended to 1/7 (bevor hobao deside to do the vte2 )BUT unfortunalty for the moment he do not work he will restart in july , and yeah he's full carbon kit make a real difference , (carbon chassi, shock tower , battery tray , fan mount , /brace , arm reinforcement and also schock deporting sytem in the arms make the car as fast on track as twice the price competition gt

Justement tonton à-propos d 'hobao, t avais dit que pour passer le hyper st en brushless faut percer le châssis, mais pour les hyper7, 8, 8.5 etc faut percer aussi ou y a que de l assemblage ? Merci !!!

yeah i dirve 4274 2050kv 21t = 107 , you can go bigger gear or 2200kv or now the new sensored motors with turbo timing , on 2050 21t i drive about 20/25min on track (only one 70m long straight line)

gts ist based on hyper ss (7) the gtb is same but long wheelbase form the truggy , the vt is on the vs but otehr chassi plate and shock and towers

yeah but in end effect vt can have more ground clearance , the ss series was just a fast way to do gts with buggy chassis , but the vt is real more effectiv in all domaine

yeah for drag race sur longer is better , the diffs are the same in hobao since hyper 7 and the handle 6s easy :) i eaven drive 8s my gtb 1500kv 120kmh run time in 5000 30 min on track :)

hi :) yeah off course , so gtb/gts are older géneration based on ss buggy , the vt is more for competition he has more option like carbon braces etc :) i liek both for fun driving but vt can realy with same setup as the super high prced brand (mugen/sworks /hot bodies/serpent) have same performance for less price ! and hobao also make torsen diffs optional just awsome !
