The blue Ti one on the very end to the right is most aesthetically pleasing to me, there is so many awesome builds out there i wish i could get into them, i just have so many other items i carry i don’t think Ide ever use it and I’ve already got enough gear that sits around and looks cool, haha. great work man!

The spydernox winger champ scalpel by far has the best set of tools I've ever seen in a classic size. I wouldn't mind the thickness of the handle because it's significantly smaller in size to a 91mm. Personally I wouldn't want the pocket clip on a set so thick, I think I'd prefer a dangler type clip so it would lay flatter in my pocket but to each their own. I'm not a fan of blue either but that's completely superficial and doesn't effect functionality in the least. You've really done an amazing job on all of these. Each have elements I like about them and would be excited to own myself but if it had to be one it's definitely the spydernox winger champ scalpel. Seriously amazing work.
@FittoSurvive2 жыл бұрын
I was really pleased with how the Spydernox Wengerchamp Scalpel turned out too. I understand what you mean about the pocket clip, it really is too thick to be carried like that. The pocket clip was an added feature, so it would not be difficult to make one without the pocket clip. Also, I anodized the scales blue, another step that could simply be removed. 😎 Thanks a lot for appreciating my work! 👍🏻

Hi, excellent builds all of them. How difficult was it to add the scalpel blade? Did you have to mod the pivots?

Hey! Thanks! The scalpel mod is quite difficult. I had to modify the pivots, reshape the tool, and modify the springs too.

Hello! - another great video - all are great builds, so selection would depend on personal preference and needs - having said that, here is what I think - I like your "beast", the "big boy blue" - clip, pen, color and functions - it's a Vicky, but it's not - it has your style all over it.... :) The Lady in Red(I like red), the flashlight and pen and the other functions make it my #2....I like that "nuggety" finish on your other 2 builds - you did another build with a similar finish on the scales that looked like brass or gold which I liked a lot...also I really liked your saw and serrated blades - these would be great to include on other builds as well....good job!
@FittoSurvive3 жыл бұрын
Hello! That's very kind of you! I love the nicknames that you gave the different knives and the way that you described them! 😂👍🏻 Yes, I have made a couple of builds with the same pattern of scales but they were brass. Again, thanks a lot! Glad that you enjoyed!

What is the process of black flaming the titanium scale?
@FittoSurvive3 жыл бұрын
You heat the titanium until it is red hot and dip it in oil. That process has to be repeated up to 20 times. I planned to post a tutorial to KZbin showing the process, but it got cold outside and I never recorded it.

Just a thought. Is it comfortable to carry such thick SAKs with a pocket clip?
@FittoSurvive3 жыл бұрын
Hmmm... Good question. I'm thinking that if you tried carrying it in a tighter pair of pants, it'd be uncomfortable. In looser cargo pants, it's be just fine.
