Hi Kathleen, I saw your desire to find a knife made in 1947 in past comments. I happened to spot 2 knives made in 1947 (my birth year also) on ebay today: a Queen #11 slim trapper; and a Camillus Senator pen knife. They are well used but can probably be brought back ok. Also I saw a "Vintage Western States Cutlery" from either the late 30's to late 40's which looks good from the pix.
