Just use your phone's EQ when you go riding to boost the lows or whatever. You can change your phones eq which in turn adjusts the cardo.

Just because the face of the housing looks the same does not mean the same for the actual drivers. JBL wins.

Base isn't good for speaking voices type of sound - only good for music. For shower speakers for instance, you want as low of a base level as possible for superior quality.

I think the JBL sounds like it has more of a full sound range but I don't know if it's worth paying that much for the gain. What's you review when riding?

they sound the same to me honestly , without having a true EQ that you can customize then your kind of stuck with what cardo provides for you. also after 40mph you dont hear much of anything unless you have a powered amp connected to the system.

@@inkmav4687 I do wear earplugs it does take some time to get use to, but after that you can hear the music better cuz the wind noise has been cut out, but after a certain speed you don't hear much of anything depending on your helmet.

So when you get into higher end speakers and stuff it becomes all about clarity. Which is why it tones the base down but overall it sounds better. It’s a cleaner clearer noise but I wouldn’t spend the extra them cardos ain’t cheap
