I've been with Sibelius since 2010 and found it to be so intuitive that I learned it without even reading the manual it was that easy. I've not tried Finale but I have tried Dorico and found the learning curve to be so incredibly steep that I never made much use of it at all. The difference being Dorico is more like a typewriter compared to Sibelius which is more of a paintbrush. One advantage not mentioned in the video about Dorico is it's DAW - like capabilities. However if that's the objective I'd recommend Studio One with Notion as an all in one package. All that said, I use Sibelius along with Reaper.

Hello Musical Friends! Each notation software has its pros and cons. Due to that, it is often hard to find which software is the definite best. Which program do you find to be the best? Why did you choose the one you choose? Have a wonderful, musical day!

I use Musescore 4 because it's free and the new update gives it good sounds and more features, it also looks really modern and intuitive.

I've heard great things about Musescore 4! Definitely a solid option with lots of strong features. Plus, can't beat the price when it's free!

I've started using Dorico at the beginning of this year after working in Finale. I'm definitely a fan of the program so far!

I started using Finale in 1994... I am now using Dorico which is world apart and so much future proof... I haven't looked back once !!

Interesting channel! It is the first time I am here. I hve some little critique. What do you mean by: 'engraving' ? I have never encountered this term in writing music. Maybe you should make a video explaining the terms you use. Not everybody is as knowledgeable about music notation software as you are. So, some explanation is really in order! Or do you have such a video already?

I don't have a video on this yet, but thank you for the idea! I'll have to make a video on it. In short: music engraving is the art of drawing music notation at the high quality for the purpose of mechanical reproduction. It's similar to music copying. In short, engraving is how well the music is notated, so some may use them interchangeably! Thank you for the comment and the ideas!

Hello! Thank you for our feedback! I am getting better at creating videos, and that includes screenshots. Creating videos can be a challenge, especially since I am not a professional video content creator! Hopefully you can see the improvement in my videos recently. Have a wonderful, musical day!

This video is poorly produced. The audio of your voice is WAAAY too low. The resolution of the Finale screenshots are WAAAY to low.
