"...without significantly sacrificing fuel efficiency." Why sacrifice? Need more power and towing, get a Ranger. And, just what is the life expectancy of the 2.0 Ecoboost? Turbo on an engine is a deal breaker for me. They already intentionally minimize production to make it seem extremely popular and fashionable, for those who dare approach a car lot these days. Of course, make it more expensive, because price alone defines "luxury" and makes the investment banks happy to boot. I want no more than minimal features with an extended cab and practical sized 6' bed. That's what a compact truck is supposed to be. The trunk in my Sonic is bigger. I'm out.

All the manufacturers are coming out with their own versions of a small pickup. There will be a lot to choose from, which will help to keep prices down. Personally, I am interested in the Toyota Stout with either the 265 hp turbo 2.4 four cylinder or the 278 hp 3.5 V-6 with a towing capacity of 6800 pounds. I don't mind a small truck, but I still want it to be a truck.

I live in seminole Florida I no what u mean I found the best dealership to buy from and I used to sell cars,from there weekly videos they will educate u so much Long- MacArthur Ford Kansas they took care of me on price when I ordered mine,ask for Darik he is my salesman he kept in touch with me they year and three months that I waited, Tim makes videos every week he will also email u back,loved the experience I even still follow them after the fact because they keep me up to date on Maverick updates if u buy with them please share my name as a referral I will get $100 my two local Ford dealerships wanted to charge me 5k more even with shipping witch they paid 1,000k of shipping it was 5k more by me thank you darik Long - MacArthur Ford kansas

The majority of the increase is because items that were optional became standard in the '24. I have the '24 Lariat and the Luxury package that was optional in the "23 is now standard in the '24 as well as some of the other minor improvements that were made.

Fill adas with a more mordern stop-go adaptive cruise control, a better media system and wireless apple car play android auto are needed ti compete with the Ram Rampage in South America as it already does have all those… a premium sound system is also needed at least as option…

I predict small compact trucks are going to get much smaller than this., like down to the size of the first Toyota and Datsun pickups, but with today's spunkier motors and technology. These would be little dynamo trucks selling for less than 15k dollars, but still quite capable.

All offers have serious problem my cousin 2020fird escape jump time after 70,000 miles which destroyed the engine but ford has done very little to fix alltheyer priem for example new . Mustangs have 3 million recall on brakes

How long before delivery? My '22 turned into a '23 (16 month wait). I did get a significant rebate and wasn't in a hurry. Really enjoy the trucklette, fits my needs more than my F150 and getting 40mpg is icing.
