Electric Latina, your testing of eBikes are second to none. Next I would love to see if you're very ambitious to test out an eBike that takes an experienced rider looking pretty while doing it? See if the company will loan you one of their eBikes. The eBikes is called the Surron Storm Bee! Well, are you up for the challenge? This would more than likely bring in more subscribers..... I see this one KZbinr with over a million subscribers, that should be your water mark!

I owned an XP 1.0 and sold it. Too heavy wasn't very nimble, and in fact I replaced it with the XP Lite and it is so much MORE fun and so much more nimble and easier to ride. I would get the Ride1Up PORTOLA over the XP 3 every day of the week. For the same $$ the PORTOLA has a 750 watt motor, an "easy in-easy out" battery that takes about 5 seconds to put in or take out and it eliminates the crazy XP battery/key situation (NOT user friendly).

I decided on the Long Range JW 2.0 XP Lite because of the lower weight & belt (it also came free with a rear rack). I would have to lift it up in my car each time & I think 50+ would be a struggle for me. Just wish the belt came in lavender but oh well

Great comparison. I'd buy a taller BMX handlebar and a longer seatpost immediately for the XP Lite. It's still a fantastic, lighter weight everyday bike. Long range for me!!!

Interesting as 2 years ago it was down to a Lectric or Heybike Mars. For $100 more, I picked the Mars because it was set up for baskets & Lectric wasn't at the time. Heybike has good eBikes but their Customer Service is horrible & they try to dishonor the warranty & charge shipping when finally approving any warranty repairs. It would be helpful if eBike reviews started tracking how they do after a couple years of use. Just hit 500 miles on my Mars in 2 years this month & the running lights & horn broke & Heybike can't fix them after 5 months of trying.

Hello hun I just put a thudbuster suspension seat post on my specialized globe haul and it's a great feeling suspension seat post there is no front suspension so I just lower the the tire pressure for more comfort.

----- The one thing I've never seen is a compare/contrast with the xp 3.0 and xp lite in TRAFFIC and in city movement. Having to stop at lights and other traffic control devices. Having to be aware of drivers that want to plow you over and having to deal with pedestrians. I think the traffic would make the lighter xp lite blow the heavier xp 3.0 away. I wish lectric had integrated turn signals and brake lights. One of the first modifications was installing and aftermarket blue tooth turn signal/tail light system. That and a good mirror make me feel much safer when I ride. ----- I'm glad you wear a helmet but if you crash you are going to get a serious case of road rash!

Hi! It’s way harder to shoot in traffic of course. It would be very nice if the Lectric bikes would include those safety features you mentioned! I always wear a helmet and gloves, and with my fast e-bikes I wear safety pads- I hope to never crash because I do know what road rash feels like.

Wow is that xp lite really olnly 29lbs? Oh wait you just said 49 lbs. I think the chart at 3:00 must be a typo... 49 is still light though! Neither a racing machine but both could be some real fun at a respectable price range! 🙂
