Quick question though, are DS18's full range 6x9's as good as everything else they make? Wife's minivan needs new ones, and my daughter's car does as well. There are a lot of choices out there for 6x9's...

Pretty sure black diamond is an off brand of ds18. To repair my black diamond amp, i would have to contact ds18.

@@SmittysWorld Thats what i thought wasnt too sure about it. Black Diamond isnt too bad imo. But havent seen many test or unboxing vids. I have 2 T12D.4 2000w Dual 4 12" Subwoofers + P2000x1D Amplifier and i like it. Sounds good for what it is.

I was planning on replacing the factory door speakers in my 2007 Escalade ESV with the DS18 pro speakers. Would that be a problem since I’m not amplified? I have tweeters in my pillars.

Yes it will still work but at high frequencies it will kinda lower, so definitely plan on getting a amp to give power to it, and get a 1800 to 2500 watt amp

I would have to see a waterfall graph of each to see if either is any good within their respective frequency bands. A simple listen test over youtube is about the most worthless test you can do.
