I’m a fan of both series, but I know that Goku in fact can easily defeat Saitama. I haven’t read the manga for one punch man so I’m gonna compare only anime versions of both characters. Goku during the tournament of power is at least Universal+ in his base form, Goku training with the Gods has made him surpass his Super Saiyan 3 form from the Buu Saga, plus during the battle of gods it was stated that Goku absorbed the Godly power into his base form, therefore enhancing his power even further and breaking his limits. Goku in the Battle of Gods saga has shook an entire universe just by fighting with Beerus and almost destroyed it entirely. As I said earlier he absorbed the Godly power into his base form so his base form can do the exact same thing as his God form did if the artists of dragon ball wanted to actually draw it all. As for Saitama, we have seen his feats on a galaxy level. Saitama’s serious punch only split apart clouds when it first was shown, yes so far we haven’t seen him actually try against his opponents but that doesn’t mean that he is gonna be anywhere near Goku’s own strength, Saitama would be considered as a Galaxy level fighter currently since his opponents that he fought were only Planetary and he only sustained a small amount of damage plus hasn’t shown any higher feats other than his serious punch. Saitama is also said to “have no limits” from fans, however that in fact is false, Saitama has yet to really show all of his power and that doesn’t mean that he’s limitless, that just means he doesn’t need to use his power so much against his opponents. Saitama’s strength was never limitless and It was never truly confirmed. Saitama is formidable in his own way but he is definitely not capable of getting Goku anywhere close to using a transformation against him. If it was Buu Saga Goku then maybe Saitama would have a chance against Goku but against Dbs Goku is just suicide for Saitama.
