You don’t know how much you saved me. I bought this figure for a 100 dollars yesterday and I was worried that I got pranked and that I bought the bootleg, but after you put them side by side I saw that I did get the original, so thanks for helping me out! 👍

I like the gloss on the CT's head for a second it actually almoat convinced me the Right was the CT's and the left was the original but really its the opposite and the logo looks more white on the CT's and idk i just belive CT's did a better job not too glossy but also not too matted like the original but i don't like the glossy logo on the CT's

Yeah CT did a really good job with the black paint with slight shading of blue.

having to resort to buying the ct to replace the left thigh on my mafex. swivel on its messed up and am not paying the hundred for a new real one just for the leg.

Out of curiosity, did your Mafex version have grease on the joints? I recently picked up the reissue, and was surprised to find grease on all the joints. First time seeing that on a Mafex.

Nope, mine doesn’t. But mine is the first release, maybe they did it on reissue.

If joints are greased or maybe it is a silicone oil then it's much better because I recently bought knight crusader batman and the leg joints are so tight which making the figure so hard to pose so I need to apply silicone oil and wait for it to penetrate the area. If by mistake it's too much oil and becomes lose just wash it with dish washing soap.

@@rapidoodsdoodles completely agree, and that's why I was surprised to see it. I have about a dozen Mafex figures, and this one was the only one that has come pre- greased.

@@pest174 problem with overly-tight joints on figures is plastic breakage which is I avoid to happen. Good news if they now applying some oil for the joints so we can avoid broken figures especially if you live in cold place. Right now I'm having issues with my knight crusader batman and I'm hoping the oil will do the trick so I wont have to sand it...

@@rapidoodsdoodles I hear you. I bought a Tamiya handy router for that very reason to shave off a little in those joints when it's too tight

Amazing comparison! have you tried putting the ct toys head on the classic spiderman mafex 185? I mean just the head, without swapping necks.

@@MJAranas well CT is doing it in smaller scale maybe to avoid killing the original release but for bane it's better to make it bigger. I hope they do xD. The CT toys symbiote spidey almost as good as the original by looks but not by touch but still really good figure especially if you want to custom. Scale wise I still prefer the original but still can't complain cause the price is 1/4 of the authentic one.

@@INK-MONO well McFarlane scale is better I guess. A little smaller to McFarlane maybe.. Regardless if CT will make it then its a good buy.
