The real downside to bootlegs, in my experience, and it's dropping up here, is that it REALLY feels like you get about 1-40 changes of a hand/head/part before the peg WILL break. So if I see a figure, and I know exactly what my main head/hands/etc would be, I buy it and keep it that way. If I love the different heads and can't choose one, I will 100% buy the legit one.

Mafex figures are mid anyway I prefer the bootlegs because on a $150+ figure you shouldn't get paint scuffs or any qc issues

Bootlegs or KOs are straight copies that could have some differences like up/downscaling or a change to the paint. But this is a 3rd party figure as they aren't stolen designs but not technically legal due to not owning the licence.

I wonder if it’s the same Chinese company manufacturing mafex, Hasbro, or figma toys just making bootlegs on the side or at least someone deep inside. That’s the only way I can think why these are so cheap but in almost the same quality as the real thing minus the polish.

I will try another type of boot...but my Amazing Yamaguchi sucked pretty bad. It literally falls apart...but i tried a bunch of other boots, the RATFINK statues are great. I bought a silent hill Robbie Rabbit that was perfect...but my Venom was a real dud.
