As of what the reports say, India alone needs about 30 jets in this category immediately in the coming 4-5 years and an equal amount in the near future. Then you have Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Kazakhstan.

Correction it's a turbofan. Not a turbojet.. this video also failed to mention the history of the Casa C-295 a joint project development with IPTN Aerospace Indonesia. Airbus had no part in its developing this aircraft

On the Embraer website and on the aircraft's data sheet, it says that the KC-390 carries up to 26t, not 23t. Otherwise, the video is amazing. Congratulations to the channel.

I flew the C295 for seven years, and these numbers are overstimated, even more in hot regions. But anyway, it is an excelent aircraft, and get the job done.

I see no sense in this comparison, since they are aircraft of totally different categories! Some of the competitors of the KC-390 are the North American C-130J, the Ukrainian AN-178 and the Chinese Y-9.

This video did not talk about the military mission of both: whereas the Embraer is most likely a regular cargo plane designed to do logistic missions, the C295 is an excellent tactical airlifter designed to do special air operation missions. Don't skip the military side on military planes; we are not comparing civilian ones!

The kc390 is certainly superior to the C295, but the Brazilian KC without an artillery system or a 105mm cannon, has no persuasive power at all. Military aircraft, without a Gunship system.

Jet and turbo-prop are no comparison - if you are comparing function/purpose fine but still they are different leagues in terms of capability

Yet turbo-props are better for some jobs. While the C295 has less range it has a higher in zone operation time due to less fuel consumption. Its lower speed also helps in some cases and its short take off capacity in uneven terrain is also great in some cases. Ill give examples: As an AWACS, SAR plane, electronic warfare and intelligence gathering the c295 does better than the KC 390.

Es igual de absurdo que si compararas al KC-390 VS A-400M o una moto VS un coche (auto).
