IL-76 is not a Ukrainian aircraft. It was built in the USSR and now the Ilyushin Aviation Complex is located in Moscow. Founded in 1933. Serially produced in Uzbekistan at the V. P. Chkalov Tashkent Aviation Production Association. In 2010, production was officially transferred to the Ulyanovsk Aviastar-SP. Antonov AN-22, Antonov AN-124 were built not in Ukraine, but in the USSR and are now produced at the aircraft building plant in Ulyanovsk by Aviastar-SP JSC.

@Yaroslav Hoshii Aviastar-SP JSC is a part of United Aircraft Corporation PJSC and has nothing to do with Antonov State Enterprise. There are no licenses and cannot be. In the USSR - Antonov Serial Plant, In Ukraine - SE "Antonov", In Russia - Aviastar-SP JSC. These are different enterprises with different production capacities!

State "elites" of traditional colonial powers (including USA, UK, Germany, France etc.) consider all people of USSR as Russians. All industry projects like aerospace were required by Russia - not by its specific territories (like Ukraine or Kazakhstan) on their own. There was a citizenship of USSR. There was no citizenship of Ukraine, Georgia etc.

That may be, but Antonov is now owned by Ukraine and Russia has now no control of them, especially after the 2014 invasion of Crimea. So all the Antonovs in Russian military has no spare parts. And Russia can't even build them again if they want to.

While not the biggest, the C-130 Hercules is by far the most significant military transport aircraft ever made. It first flew in 1954! Over 2500 have been produced and it’s still in production. The current production model is C-130J Super Hercules.

very good video, but the topic of the Antonovs (22/124-255) you should have omitted them even though the video was before the Russian special operation, because by that date many of the Antonovs in the world were inoperative or decommissioned, the same AN-255 did not qualify for insurance companies, so Ukraine could no longer market it without the technical licenses that came from Russia.

Not all former Soviet aircraft makers were relocated to the Ukraine. Ilyushin is a different company than Antonov. You need to pay more attention! Sergey Ilyushin was born in Russia and died in the then Soviet Republic of Russia. The Ilyushin aircraft company was founded in 1933 in Moscow where its headquarters are still located, and since 2006 it's part of the aviation conglomerate OAK, which is largely under the control of the Russian state.

All the Antonov aircrafts were engineered, developed and built in cooperation with Russian expertise and kept the name in honor to its founder Antonov during the Soviet era. Had Ukraine not become a stooge of the US and West nor hostile with Russia it would have been able to develop its economy and its own aircraft industry in cooperation with Russia. Ukraine just stupidly killed itself by believing in the US and the West to go after Russia.

the problem is that the an 124 is not as versatile as the galaxy the American device has the advantage of saving a lot of fuel and landing on poorly prepared runways and its range is greater! Il-76 is soviet, but Russia is still producing improved version of it. So, now its russian. In the same time i think it would be correct to refer An-22 and An-124 to USSR, cause modern Ukraine hasn't produce any of these planes.

I will say more: Russia produced 33 An-124 till 1995, Ukraine - 17. More over, all serial An-22s produced in Uzbek republic in cooperation with many soviet manufactories, include ukranian and russian. Thats why both planes correctly call soviet, not ukranian or russian.

And i asked about last 6 years from 2015 to novadays, when Russia stopped taking part in production of these planes. Replaced Russian parts, you said? Ok. So, how many planes was built without Russian parts? Four month ago i saw 5 unfinished An-178 without any equipment in ukrainian news. And now you talk, 4 of them already "made" while all sources say "Number built - 1"?😏 Against of background such problems with production of light and medium aircrafts, your confidence in production super heavy An-124 by Ukraine without any problems raise doubts, as minimal.

Seriously?..... In a simple words: Ukraine made 0 planes since 2015. You can go up to drop cow cakes, vyshivatnik, but Ukraine not able produce now such planes like An-158, An-178 and fortiori An-124. There is such problem with ships. Ukrainian air fleet is old, it requires an update immidiately. In the same time, according to you, Ukraine can produce planes easy, just need an order. Who believes in this nonsense?

Ilijušin je dnes ruský výrobce ( v roce 2006 se spojil s Mikojan, Tupolev, Suchoj, Jakovlev a Irkut a dnes to je Sjednocená letecká korporace) Antonov je ukrajinský výrobce. Pro ruská letadla a vrtulníky vyráběl až do války motory. Čínská letadla jsou pouhými kopiemi těch sovětských.
