German and European engineering is still far far far far superior to Eastern ones The Swift and almost all other carsa here in competition are like 40-90 kgs lighter than Polo and Yet Polo is fastest, with just 90 HP I wish AutoX does the same with the Honda City vs VW Vento vs Ford Fiesta vs Ciaz vs Sunny vs Verna vs Linea as well The lap times are really a nice attraction, we want more of this stuff Thanks

Ford's are the Best drivers car and have always been known for there Suspension setup and Driving pleasure. Comparing European cars with Japanese and Korean cars is a foolishness. Volkswagen Ford and fiat is a beautiful royal class car at affordable prices, at the same time Japanese extracting the people's innocence or foolishness, yes maintenance is a bit expensive but life is more precious, and unmatched driving experience. Instead of buying a Japanese car, it will be better to buy seconds ford or Volkswagen, which is not only cheaper to buy moreover it will be much cheaper to maintain aswell. For example I bought a used vento instead of i20, by which I saved 5 lakhs of rupees, and if u calculate 10 percent depreciation value, plus 10 percent bank intrest plus 3 percent insurance premium which is about 23 percent savings every year, which amounts to 1.19 lakh. And even if u send 50 thousands of rupees on service, u would be saving about 69 thousand rupees every year.

I think the VW would be the best in all of them besides the total maintenance cost and purchasing expense. VW needs almost 20k $ to own in Japan. then I drive a Swift that is much cheaper than the VW although the swift don't have not so good rigidity of chassis and suspentions and indoor silence. Anddd I'm still a student with poverty :(

Swift is a beautiful piece of engineering, there are many factors one should worry.. chevorlate you will cry after 5 service..costly service hyundai... poor handling and vibration on high speed. Fiat.. Much costlier then rivals..service center issue in india.. Ford... yes once can think for that but take care about Ford extra costlier part and maintainence cost.. VW... bold look great product but less service center in india.. Swift long life, great resell, performance, best handling, low maintainence.. sporty in every mean... yes i have Swift ZXI Fire Red and i am proud owner..:)
