John wanted me to point out a few errors on his part in the video. So, I'm adding a pinned message here to cover them: • In the activation of German Corps Raus, I moved a Corps Raus unit along the North map edge too far. They did not have enough MPs to enter the woods hex. • In the first activation and attack by Soviet 6th army (green stripe), they suffered an A1 result. I forgot to remove an attacker step. • There was a later Soviet attack in which I again forgot to remove an attacker step. I don't remember which one to identify the activation.

A little clarification needed. In the combat results for the battle at ~29:30 it was mentioned that the German 3-4 Inf would be eliminated even on a D3 (result was a D4), but wouldn't a D2 eliminate the unit? Because if he retreats to a hex in an enemy ZOC he still loses a step? So if that is the rule when retreating into an enemy ZOC you don't actual save a step lose, just possibly can move away and maybe survive depending on the defender steps and the loses?

At 49:23 where two Attacker hits had to be allocated against the Soviet units, shouldn't the first hit have been taken from the 3T unit (Large/3 steps). The other three are all 2-step units.

Any reason why you couldn't do an IP on that Sov 4-4 35G Popov formation (1704) at Sov activation ~38:00? It wasn't going to be involved in any attack and didn't move.

That would be a question for John Butterfield, since he not only designed the game but decided what he was going to do when teaching it, so I can't speak to his intention TBH.

Great video and very helpful. I just got the game and I have one doubt. In hex 1202 I only see one unit from the set up (min 54:18) but I have two, the 6 from the video ( 3-4) and the 172 (4-4).

The units and the unit designations are a bit blurry? I set my playback resolution to max, 1080P but it didn't fix it.

It was the resolution of John's screen when we shot the video. Unfortunately, it was a bit blurry but did become more clear when he zoomed in.
