The unsolicited advice gets me so bad sometimes, because you want to listen to people and hear different opinions, but Maggie and Marissa are so right! A lot of the things people have to say to you don’t really apply to you, especially from people who just want something to say. I’m an LA actor too, not really working now, but very encouraged by you, Marissa!! I almost stayed in London too with my study abroad, but I had the same issue with my visa!

I often forget how much work, especially pre-production, goes into preparing for videos. Especially W.A.R. I'm sure they had planned for Eugene's absence for part of the 2023 W.A.R. season. Then, donut drama happened and they had to scramble to find two reliable people who were not only willing, but available for the 2023 summer shoot. Marissa was great on W.A.R. and I look forward to seeing her in more videos. Also, ETK with her and Keith is my favorite one so far.

omg Company 3 mention! I'm an assistant sound editor and worked on a show that did color at Company 3 in NYC. I didn't work there but the post-production wrap party was at Company 3 (their facility is so pretty) and I had to send deliverables to folks there all the time. also the commute times is SO REAL. even in NYC, mine is an hour and a half on public transit!

The creative industry is just BS. Anything actually made by a creative person is going to be changed, frankensteined, warped, and edited so much by executives and supervisors who are NOT creatives, so much so that the final product can and will look almost nothing like its original concept. Sometimes it's good, but most of the time it deforms the creative product in a way that just loses its original creative message. I never fault creators when I see or experience something I don't like, almost all of the time it's the people above them that have more pull and power than they do.
