This is awesome. I’m going to get some of these time gates and race my kids… I’m so far out in the middle of nowhere that I don’t have anyone else I could race

You can also do what MAS running does, change the distance sprinted based on the speed the person runs at.

Love the content. I feel for your buddy, Kyle. I strained my calf 3 steps into my first fly 10 today. Thankfully, my wife is a DPT and has already produced a rehab protocol. Have you done a video on getting back in shape to give max effort sprints, post soft tissue injury? If not, I’d sure be interested in your input! 😂

Hi Jeff, I haven't made a video dedicated to this topic alone, but the link below touches on it a little bit at the 1:30 mark. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZSzpmWEq5eEY8U

Hey will love your content , is speed training ok to run 2x a week if your lifting heavy 2x a week as well on separate days? I’m worried about CNS volume and I know speed training is very taxing. I know you have a high frequency training schedule so I wanted to know your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Hope Kyle's recovery is quick and effortless. This has me wonder, what do you think is the minimum required to maintain sprint ability past 30. 24 now, compete in grappling and serving in the military. Dont hit Max V very often. Appreciate your insight.

Doing sprints at 43 here so wouldn't worry too much about age. Just gotta stay in shape and strong and mobile.

Im 35 left military at 28, didnt sprint for 4 years, first time back pulled a hammy, once that recovered i made sure to slowley build them in once weekly atleast. I then do 2 lifting days aswell as 3 mma sessions. This is my sweet spot for recovery without fragging myself. But everyone is different. If in doubt start low and build it , rather than start at the top end and put yourself out for a few days/weeks

Almost 40 here, just been playing lacrosse since i was 14 and haven’t had a span longer than a couple months where I didn’t play in some sort of game or tournament. Like other have said just stick with it once or twice a week. If you really like it, join a rec track team and you’ll be golden.

I know you said you aim to maintain your strength as you get older, but are there any specific prs you've been aiming for as of late?

I just deadlifted 700 for a pretty easy single about 3 weeks ago. My previous best was 715 and that was when I was like 27 years old. I’d like to hit that number or exceed it if I can.

What is that?

@ it’s like a super popular program in South Korea where they invite some pretty legit athletes, some olympians, of all walks of like to do these various challenges until only one is left. It’s on Netflix. Pretty fun show.
