If you go watch prople in the south usa from the civil war, they sound like English people of that day. The two dialects diverge, but her speech is more like the old timey English dialect. I am from the western usa and we do not sound at all like the people from long ago. West usa english is a newer dialect of English.

She is so funny. If you go to DRY BAR COMEDY you’ll come across some other really great comics. No swear words, nothing nasty, Christian comedy. Truthfully, Louanne is the funniest one to me. Watching her makes me laugh out loud. See as many of her routines as you can. The first one I ever saw was when she tells about her three children being very young, and she might be pregnant again. Try to find that one.

Those cheer faces, so real. My daughter was a flyer and when she started cheer, I thought it was to actually cheer for the school football team during games. No... even in middle school, it was about competitive cheer and the coach had them miss games to practice for competition. It was also very expensive. Glitter panties or bloomers as they called them, are not cheap and you have to have the matching hair bows. Oh, and if they decide all the girls are getting clip in extensions or curls or whatever, you have to get them, or your girl gets demerits and if you get too many demerits, you get benched. Oh, and the travel is real. They went to some national competition over 1100 miles away and yes, we had to pay for all that too. The hotels, the food, the fees, Leanne speaks truth. We weren't even in a private all stars team, this was public school. By the way, all the extracurricular for the football and other sports teams were funded by the school, our equally athletic girls were funded courtesy of my pocketbook and all the other girl's parents.

Growing up as a freakishly tall female (by age 15 I was 5' 11" ) i can relate. I got soooo tired of adults looking at me and asking why i wasn't on the basketball team. I hate sports and my temper would have gotten me thrown off the team for fouling people.
@sakitoby15812 жыл бұрын
hahaha yeah that's one of those stupid, predictable things ppl can be boringly consistent about saying. I once read a very tall man's similar lament and he said the only ppl that never comment on his body are very fat ppl, because they know how bad it feels when strangers (even well meaning ones, but they're often not) make unsolicited comments or jokes about your body. Well, I say screw 'em!! Ignore the idiots! You're not a freak, you are statuesque and of lovely height. I hope now you cherish your height for what it is, an awesome quality. Every single bff I ever had towered over me. Idk why, it's not like we chose friends by height but that's how it always was. Tall women are awesome. I always envied my tall besties being always able to reach any shelf they wanted and how good their long legs look in pants esp w/boots. Hey, we are what we are. Rock that vertical beauty, sweetheart!! And don't automatically reject cute shorter guys as long as they don't have attitude about their height. Confident, well adjusted, nice shorter guys are pretty adorable. : )

My daughter is a "big girl" and ended up what they called a Base, in Cheer. Some Flyers like to act like their stuff don't stink...Well, My baby reminded them it Does, by "missing" her Flyer during practice. Even though she deserved it, I Had to say the Mom thing and exclaim, "Honey, you can't do that!" She came right back with a reassuring, "Oh its okay Mommy, they got more." 😝

My daughter was a base and there's nothing anyone could do to make her drop her flyer. She had multiple concussions putting her body in the way to make sure her flyers didn't hit the ground. It is NEVER acceptable to purposely drop a flyer, and it's extremely dangerous.

Competition cheer in Texas is straight up nothing short of a cult. Most of the girls can be nice but LAWD!!!...some-a-dem mamas & their lil' baby girls can be psycho. I'm talkin' only a couple marbles bouncin' around up in there-Wanda-Webb-Holloway P-S-Y-C-H-O (lets not forget quite a few of those cheer coaches, you know the ones: "I'm tryin' to relive my high school glory days, have a severe NPD, along with an itty-bitty-tee-ninsy control issue") Leanne nails it & knocks it right out the park on this subject. 😂😅
@eileencastillo63235 жыл бұрын
I hear that! You are not exaggerating. I'm also in Texas. My experience with cheerleader mothers was through my family's athletic lettering business. It was during the summer between the school years that we dealt with the cheerleaders making uniforms. Those women were aweful. There was one unavoidable issue that was the source of a lot hissy fits. These little girls measured for uniforms during the summer were not the same size when school started! 😮 Anticipating how much they would grow was a nightmare. Lol
