I think this is a terrible way to implement rank mode. However, epic tried to find a way to introduce it for the casual players and still please the streamers that are scared to play against players like daequan. Want a true rank mode, match make players based on wins/kills not top score based on 50 camping matches. But you don't want to expose the "good" streamers that match make against novice players.

REALenvizible a good ranking system is a multiple star or win system. A good ranking system example is Rainbow Six Siege (but they have terrible matchmaking especially when you play with friends). They go by a certain amount of points (like a certain rank has a minimum requirement of x points) and you get a small amount of points per game. This limits people from being top rank in like 5 games and requires you to play more and in return grants you to be better because you start playing against harder and harder people, and it takes out having to play against trash or godly players

They should make hot zones. A circle covers a small portion of the map, within that circle spawns exceptional quality equipment. They could spawn with a an algorithm to help spread players across the map

For us “average” players.... it actually makes this mode really interesting... it gets to a small ass circle and there’s still 15 people left when there should be max 3... shit goes crazy at the end
